TLDR: Oath Keepers hired Whip, who had 20yrs of experience in private security, to help them run security operations they were hired to run on J6, despite Whip NOT being an Oath Keepers member.
Whip agrees to testify as a defense witness. GOV prosecutors get mad, add new "seditious conspiracy" and other new charges for Whip as a result.
They even went so far as to lie to the court and say Whip was an Oath Keepers "top leader" (he wasn't even a member).
He was just aquitted.

I'm just about finished reading The Gallic War by Julius Ceasar, a firsthand accout of his multi-year campaign to pacify ancient Gaul, Germany, Belgium, and even part of England (that one I hadn't known about).
It further strengthens my position that we need to bring back the days of the warrior-King, who rode into battle at the Vanguard or alongside their troops.
It would serve 1 of two purposes, and either is a distinct upgrade from our current predicament:
1. Lessen the desire for those who call for war yet have no firsthand understand of what war truly is/means
2. It would fully retire the spineless, Ivy League PoliSci types from the highest office if their warmongering required them in the actual war.
Ceasar would routinely back off of incursions that he knew he would handily win, simply because of unadvantaged ground or knowledge that a large number of his troops would be harmed should he proceed.
His troops loved & respected him so much that they would routinely enact +20 mile forced marches with no stop because Ceasar said it was needed.
Troop (cohort or legion) commanders simply saying that Ceasar was en route or would be watching led to astonishing acts of grit, bravery, and perseverance.
Now contrast that with our current military recruitment & retention debacle, and the slaughter in Ukraine.

Addendum: isn't it funny how the "you need X experience to comment on X issue" crowd never cares that the NatSec & war press typically have no actual warfighting experience and are often dead wrong in their assumptions?
They sure do help drum up support for the war machine, tho.

Daily reminder: there are groups like Rose City ANTIFA, manuals & handbooks with the name, historical records of the German (Nazi) predecesors of ANTIFA, and swarms of "uniformed" Black Bloc that all operate in near unison.
Yet FBI & media want you to believe it doesn't exist.

Anybody remember that fake TV ad in Robocop 2 that tried to make people think you'd need supergoop for sunscreen by the year 2000 because the ozone layer would be gone?
Hollywood is full of morons & miscreants. Never take their word or beliefs as accurate.
On anything.
