Here's the thing about the ultra hard and crazy tranny push of late...
Americans are a rebellious bunch. It's in our traditions, holidays, and our DNA.
We launch faux mortars and missiles to celebrate vanquishing limey tyrants, for chrisssakes.
All Americans know this.
5 years ago things were going pretty well for the LGB community. Marriage rights, laws preventing discrimination in hiring or homeownership, and here's the big part of that: it worked.
Despite what the media & today's activists would have you believe, there was no mass of boogeyman conservatives wailing & gnashing teeth or attacking gay couples.
We were very close to homeostasis culturally. It was a pretty good implementation.
Sure, there was still minor levels of bigotry or isolated events of violence, but in a country of 360mm people that number can never be zero.
Suffice it to say the LGB community was a fair shade safer here than in Zimbabwe, Saudi, Qatar, North Africa, China, or most of the world.
And then the TQs began their full court press of demands that all culture, language, and customs be bent to their whims.
Note the key word: demand
If there was a phrase to define the American temerity, it could very well be "oh yeah? Well you just watch me" when someone makes a demand or tells us we can't do something.
There's a reason the 1st amendment is the first - it enshrined the right for us to refuse to repeat a state sanctioned mantra and to be able to criticize the GOV for having one in the first place.
And yet the TQs have been nothing if not demanding - one demand after another, steadily encroaching on everyone else's space, no matter where they stand in regard to feelings on the LGBTQ culture.
Watching this continue I just can't shake the feeling that it's almost like it's being orchestrated by people who have zero understanding of the rebellious nature and mentality of Americans.
Almost as if the entire push eminated from a culture that is used to a subservient populace that does exactly what they are told.
Which is certainly not America.
Anyway, long drawn out thoughts on a subroutine that's been banging around the back of my mind for quite some time now.
China or Russia? Not sure, but it would be a wise strategic move for either.

Last week my kids and I ate steaks out of a freezer that was filled with cuts of beef from a cow that my sis, brother & law, and their son raised.
It was fuggin delicious with a side of awesome sauce.
The cricket people can chug a bottle of fuckoffasauce as far as I'm concerned.
I'll take the home grown cow every time.
