This article is fascinating. You can feel the writer’s vitriol towards conservatives and their want for public floggings.
But the premise is clear: there was no intention of an insurrection at all, before or on January 6th. There was no secret meetings plotting the overthrow of the US government… by civilians anyway.
What fascinates me is how CONFUSED the left is about this. The FBI, media, political pundits and elected officials, that branded this “an insurrection” with fevered excitement, are left scratching their heads.
They can not, or just will not, understand January 6th as the righteous indignation that it was. Millions of Americans felt abused by their government (much longer than covid or a dirty election) and what resulted that afternoon was an organic explosion of anger directed toward specific people inside of their specific building.
That Congressmen and their staff weren’t torn limb from limb is honestly, an impressive show of restraint.
The left can’t possibly understand a spontaneous, real call to action. Because even when they try and pretend BLM riots or climate change activism (or whatever the fuck they’re on about this week) are purely altruistic, the amount of coordination is gross. In dark, seedy corners where no one can see money change hands, from UHauls of weaponry or pallets of bricks dropped off at protest locations, George Soros funding, wall to wall corporate propaganda, social media onslaught of George Floyd snuff films, BLM flags flying above our state capital buildings…. The left can never have what the right has. The total decentralization is such an asset, because we come together only for good ideas. And the left has no good ideas. That’s why they can’t put a picnic together without some “grassroots” “community organizers” and an overstuffed envelope. Meanwhile, the right can cause the rest of the nation to cry and get therapy and do endless exposés on an event they didn’t even plan for.
