PA Audit Roadblock

Senator Doug Mastriano spoke with War Room this morning and said that he was “boxed in by Senate leadership.”

Mastriano had scheduled a Sunshine notification hearing for August 5th and a vote on the audit subpoenas for August 6th — he has majority support for the audit within his Committee. Republican Senate President Jake Corman cancelled the hearing room and the voting session without consulting Mastriano. Now Corman is threatening to fire Mastriano’s staff and strip him of his Committee Chair.

Arizona AG Brnovich Issues Legal Opinion on Covid Vaccine Requirements.

Highlights:
◾Any business that requires vaccination for patrons must make reasonable accommodations for patrons who cannot obtain a vaccination or will not due to religious beliefs.

◾ It is unlawful for an airline to refuse to transport a US citizen for not being vaccinated. The only legal reason for refusal under current law would be if the individual had a communicable disease at the time they traveled.
