Good write-up from Jerry Dunleavy of The Washington Examiner about what a disaster day 1 of the trial was for Danchenko and his legal team.

One of Danchenko's lawyers didn't seem to grasp that the partial immunity deal Igor agreed to prior to being interviewed by the FBI required him to answer all questions truthfully, to withhold no information, to not attempt to falsely implicate anyone and not to attempt to shield or protect anyone.

We already know in the course of being interviewed by the FBI, Danchenko attempted to shield Chuck Dolan and then falsely attempted to implicate Sergei Millian as a dossier source.

That right there meant any immunity agreement he signed was null and void.

But Danchenko's lawyer kept trying to argue this point in court yesterday until Judge Trenga shut him down.

Durham established with one of the key FBI agents on the Crossfire Hurricane team that Danchenko deliberately tried to hide Dolan's involvement as a Steele Dossier source.

Steele hadn't even told the FBI who his primary sub-source was when they used that sub-source's allegations in the Carter Page surveillance warrant.

The Crossfire Hurricane team reportedly did not learn the PSS was Igor Danchenko until 'late December of 2016'.

The FISA warrant was submitted to the FISA Court on October 26, 2016.

So they didn't know who the source was, and they hadn't verified any of it.

Just wonderful.

It appears that Techno Fog and I have arrived at the same conclusion:

Danchenko was proffering Segei Millian to the FBI as the source of the 'anonymous phone call' that was the basis of the 'pee tape' and 'well developed conspiracy between the Trump campaign and the Russian government' allegations to cover up the fact it was CHUCK DOLAN who was the actual source.

Chuck Dolan is a top Democrat activist, donor and advisor since the Jimmy Carter years.

He goes on the stand tomorrow.

How do we know that poll worker PII was all that was sent to China via the Election Management Systems and apps that Konnech was running for more than 30 US counties?

There's an awful lot of election related data that gets sent over these EMS systems. Like county passwords, for instance. And ballot images.

Remember that county election systems are part of our vital national security infrastructure.
