Nobody has been held accountable for conspiring against a sitting president — except the absurd wrist-slap given to FBI attorney Kevin Clinesmith — and this tells you all that you need to know about the current state of our “democracy.”

I watched Margin Call (again) last night bc I'm profoundly interested by financial cataclysms that "the smartest people in the room" don't tend to see coming.

Watching the views of NYC skyscrapers full of computer screens on 24/7 made me think about how these (deep blue) large cities suck up profoundly more (fossil-fuel generated) energy than the more suburban or rural areas, yet it's the loonies in these cities that think the rest of the world needs to change.
