A pending pair of cases on the Supreme Court’s “shadow docket” could fundamentally rewrite the rules of US elections.
“The Constitution provides that state legislatures — not federal judges, not state judges, not state governors, not other state officials — bear primary responsibility for setting election rules.”

Along with Gorsuch……Justices Clarence Thomas, Samuel Alito, and Brett Kavanaugh have all endorsed this same opinion in lawsuits seeking to alter which rules would govern the 2020 election.
“The fate of American democracy is now in JUSTICE AMY CONEY BARRETT’S hands.”
