The True the Vote report to the WI legislature opens with the GA portion of the report. It infuriates me that no one in our Legislature invited them to come and provide testimony while they were crafting new legislation. Instead, they kept the drop boxes in place. Still waiting for the AJC to report on this. I hope this comes up in the debate. And I expect that the press and Kemp will treat it like the press and Biden treated the HB laptop issue. Kemp needs to be asked WHY he didn't ask for an investigation. Ironically, Brad did. I previously posted about the dangers of HB 1013.
The Georgia Record did a specific breakdown of the issues and points out the inevitable Law of "Unintended Consequences"
What is so infuriating is that it appears that most of the people who voted yes didn't even read the bill. Three people who did actually read it voted no.
One of the no votes was Philip Singleton, who was already targeted by Ralston, and now one of the other no votes is being targeted. There was one who did not vote.
I encourage you to read this breakdown of the bill which points out all of the dangers of the "unintended consequences"
Questions I have, and maybe we should ask our Senators:
Why would our Legislature empower the Government bureaucracy to grow in this way?
Why would our Legislature place itself under future unwritten WHO guidelines based on their horrific past record?
Why would our Legislature agree to a known WHO definition that abortion is life-saving care?
Why would our Legislature agree to abide by definitions from the DSM that codifies pedophilia as a disorder and not a crime?
Why would the Legislature pave the way to put people away for possible future "thought crimes" This leads to 'red flag laws'
Why would our Legislature vote to increase mandates and insurance costs for GA consumers at this time of high inflation?
There is a reason Stacey Abrams was happy about this bill. The Left is all about expanding government to take away rights.
It is sad that our Legislature paved the way for it to happen.
It is even worse they did it in such a lazy way. They were not even curious enough to read the bill and ask questions.
Hopefully, the Senate will be smarter.
Call them and ask your own questions.
