The disconnect between the DC people and the regular people is really stark right now. DC is focused on Ukraine. The heartland is living their lives and/or focusing on Canada. Why? Because we know it is only a matter of time before it comes here. I monitored Blue check twitter today and it was almost all Ukraine. Why? People are freaking out about the tyranny we see to our North, and most of the politicians, and media are ignoring it. They want to focus on Russia. Here are two examples.
