The disconnect between the DC people and the regular people is really stark right now. DC is focused on Ukraine. The heartland is living their lives and/or focusing on Canada. Why? Because we know it is only a matter of time before it comes here. I monitored Blue check twitter today and it was almost all Ukraine. Why?
