In yet another crime against both humanity and intellect, the Director of the Faculty of Sciences at the Lebanese University, Dr. Hussein Bazzi, and Professor Dr. Murtada Srour were martyred in the Israeli terrorist airstrike that targeted them inside the Faculty of Sciences in Hadath.

They were not on a battlefield. They were not carrying weapons. They were inside a university, inside a sanctuary of knowledge, where their only mission was to teach, to research, and to shape the minds of Lebanon's next generation.

🇮🇷| IRIB military correspondent Younes Shadlou explains how Iran is controlling the Strait of Hormuz:

Iran uses upgraded Ashura-class fast attack boats to control the Strait of Hormuz.

These boats are armed with IRGC-made heat-seeking Qadr missiles with a range of about 25 km, which are very accurate to hit their targets precisely without relying on optical systems and even without relying on GPS, instead they use thermal guidance systems. No electronic warfare system can prevent them from striking their target.

The boats can travel over 90 km/h and US naval forces are weak against it. They can also carry anti-drone and anti-helicopter missiles.

According to Shadloo, these boats have not yet been used in combat, the IRGC Navy is so far relying more on attack drones and some cruise missiles.
