#Shimla is the capital of the northern Indian state of #HimachalPradesh, in the #Himalayan foothills. Once the summer capital of British India, it remains the terminus of the narrow-gauge Kalka-Shimla Railway, completed in 1903. It’s also known for the handicraft shops that line The Mall, a pedestrian avenue, as well as the Lakkar Bazaar, a market specializing in wooden toys and crafts.
#ArunachalesvaraTemple also called #AnnamalaiyarTemple is a #HinduTemple dedicated to the deity Shiva located at the base of #ArunachalaHill in the town of #TamilNadu India. It is significant to the Hindu sect of Saivism as one of the temples associated with the five elements the Pancha Bhoota Stalas and specifically the element of fire or Agni.

Pangong Tso or Pangong Lake is an endorheic lake spanning eastern Ladakh and West Tibet situated at an elevation of 4,225 m. It is 134 km long and divided into five sublakes, called Pangong Tso, Tso Nyak, Rum Tso and Nyak Tso.
#HidimbaDeviTemple, locally known as #DhungariTemple, also known variously as the #HadimbaTemple, is located in #Manāli, a hill station in the State of #HimāchalPradesh in north India. It is an ancient cave temple dedicated to #HidimbiDevi, wife of Bhima, a figure in the Indian epic Mahābhārata. The temple is surrounded by a cedar forest called Dhungiri Van Vihar at the foot of the Himālayas. The sanctuary is built over a huge rock jutting out of the ground which was worshiped as an image of the deity. The structure was built in 1553 by Maharaja Bahadur Singh.

This stunning milky white #waterfall lies in the northern region of #KodaguDistrict in #Karnataka. These falls lie 26 kilometres from the town of Somwarpet at the foot of the #PushpagiriHills. The falls originate from #RiverKumaradhara and takes a deep plunge of over 1000 metres. The heavenly scenery with lush green forests and the clear white waters of River Kumaradhara falling deep from the point of origin of the waterfall is a sight never to be missed.

#RumtekMonastery also called the #DharmaChakraCentre, is a gompa located in the Indian state of #Sikkim near the capital #Gangtok. It is the seat-in-exile of the Gyalwang Karmapa, inaugurated in 1966 by the 16th Karmapa. It is also a focal point for the sectarian tensions within the Karma Kagyu school of Tibetan Buddhism that characterize the 17th Karmapa controversy.
#NakoLake is a high altitude lake in the Pooh sub-division of the #Kinnaur district. It forms part of the boundary of #NakoVillage and seems that the village is half buried in the lake's border. It is about 3,662 metres above sea level. The lake is surrounded by willow and poplar trees.
#Auli is a #Himalayan ski resort and hill station in the north Indian state of #Uttarakhand. It’s surrounded by coniferous and oak forests, plus the #NandaDevi and Nar Parvat mountains. A long cable car links Auli to the town of Joshimath.
