The #StatueOfUnity is a colossal statue of Indian statesman and independence activist Vallabhbhai Patel (1875–1950), who was the first Deputy Prime Minister and Home minister of independent India and adherent of Mahatma Gandhi during the non-violent Indian Independence movement. Patel was highly respected for his leadership in uniting 562 princely states of India with a major part of the former British Raj to form the single Union of India. #HafeshwarTemple is located in Kawant taluka approximately around 40 km from the main town of Chhota udepur. it is an ancient shiva temple and is submerged in the water for most part of the year. only the flag of the temple can be seen , rest is submerged under waters of the Narmada catchment area.Locals have it that this is a historic shiva temple which existed here since a long time on a hillock.

The #SomnathTemple (also known as the #DeoPatan) located in #PrabhasPatan near #Veraval in #Saurashtra on the western coast of #Gujarat, India is believed to be the first among the twelve jyotirlinga shrines of Shiva. It is an important pilgrimage and tourist spot of Gujarat. Reconstructed several times in the past after repeated destruction by several invaders and rulers, the present temple was reconstructed in the Chaulukya style of Hindu temple architecture and completed in May 1951. The reconstruction was started under the orders of the Home Minister of India Vallabhbhai Patel and completed after his death. Presently Prime minister of India Narendra Modi is the president of Somnath Mandir trust.
