#TsomgoLake, also known as #TsongmoLake or #ChanguLake, is a riot of colours, and takes different forms in different seasons. While winter brings visitors to a frozen stretch of ice, instead of a lake, with snow all around it, spring arrives in full bloom to cover the surrounding area of the clean water with a profusion of flowers. At a distance of 38 km from #Gangtok, #Tsomgo, meaning source of water in Bhutanese, lies at an altitude of 3,779 m, on the way to Nathu la Pass.
