Account Privacy explained:
1. Phone Number: Make it Nobody if you don't want other users on telegram to be able to see your phone number.

2. Last Seen & Online: Make it Nobody if you don't want anyone to see when we're you last seen or whether you are online or not.

3. Profile Photo: You can choose who you want to see your profile picture. If you make it nobody, other users in groups/chats will not be able to see your profile pic.

4. Forwarded Message: If you make it nobody, other users won't be able to get to your account by taping on your display name where your message has been forwarded.

5. Calls: Don't want anybody to able to make telegram calls to to you? Switch it to nobody.

🚫 Groups: Are you tired of being added to random telegram groups and channels? Change this option to nobody.

How are telegram groups & channels different?

Telegram #channel (like @tgWeb) is a community of people which works like WhatsApp broadcast list (I know WhatsApp is stupid sorry for using that as an example). In a channel:
» members can only read/view what a channel admin is posting.
» only admins can post/edit/delete content in channel

So if you are a person who doesnt like to interact with people in groups or be bothered by private messages of other members/people, i will recommend you to go for telegram channels. There your account cant be seen by other members and it will suffice your purpose of being in a community to view/read the content posted there.

Whereas, telegram #group is community of people who have gathered to to interact with each other on a certain topic like that of a group's objective (For example, @WritersClub is a group only meant to talk about writing or discuss literature). In a group:
» being a member you can post content for others to read and you can also edit/delete your posts. (group admins can delete your post)
» you must participate in the ongoing conversation because that's what group is meant for.

So for those, who would like to interact with others on a common topics. Telegram group is the best place for you in numerous ways (unlike whatsapp, in a telegram group other members dont get to see your phone no., so once again WhatsApp is lame). If you are able to take benefit of groups in your learning and development as well as for socializing, you gotta be in a group that supports your objective. Else, dont waste your time sitting idle in a group, that's not a place for you.

@tgWeb is a network of some awesome sorted #group(s) and #channel(s) that only posts relevant content. Tap on #group // #channel hastags to scroll through its network communities.

Also, channels don't impose any rules on its members however, when you are joining a group, you must adhere to the rules of that group else you stand a chance to be removed.

Enable video calls on Telegram for iOS.

1. Download Telegram for iOS 6.3.
2. Go in the debug menu (tap 10 times on the settings icon).
3. At the very bottom enable Experimental Features.

That's it. You should be able to make video call.

Is there any limit on how many profile videos one can have?

I have tried numerous times to upload new profile video and it shows upload completed but the old one comes back. Tried different videos too, also tried doing it on beta and stable both. Logged out logged in, cleared cache everything. Issue remains same. Android 13, App v9.2.2

Anyone else facing this issue?
