Telegram Has Been Updated to Version 10.6
Telegram's January update has been released in the app stores, and here's something interesting about it:
• Self-destructing Voice Messages: Users can now send a voice message that can be listened to only once, after which it self-destructs. The feature works only in private chats. You cannot forward such messages to other chats.
• Self-destructing Video Messages: Like self-destructing voice messages, video messages disappear after the first view and only work in private chats.
• Pause During Recording: Pause and play back a voice or a video message before it is sent to the person you are chatting with.
• Updated Saved Messages: Now, when you tap on the header, a list of chats is displayed, from which messages have been forwarded to Saved Messages. In addition, in profiles of channels, groups, and other users, the Saved Messages tab allows you to view messages saved from this source.

The following features have been introduced:
• Star Reactions for Channels: Channel administrators can now enable Star Reactions, and subscribers can send stars from their balance as reactions to posts. An unlimited number of stars can be used to react to each post from the user’s balance. If the user who made the reactions prefers, they can be publicly listed with others.
• Paid Channel Subscriptions: Administrators of private channels can create a paid invitation link and set a subscription fee. Any user who wants to subscribe to the channel using this link will need to pay this fee upon subscribing and then continue on paying it monthly to renew their subscription.
• Choosing the Sender of a Post on the Channel: Channel administrators can now choose under whose name a post will be made. The author selection menu includes the administrator’s personal account, the current channel, and all other public channels owned by the administrator. The new “Show Authors’ Profiles” setting in the “Administrators” section allows photos of senders to be displayed to the left of channel posts. The “Sign Messages” setting, previously located on the channel’s settings, is now available in this section.

• New features when editing messages: now the applications show the moment of the last change of messages, and when editing, users can add media to those messages that did not previously contain them. Only one media, but any type: image, video, audio, or file.
• Chat-specific hashtags: users can now specify local hashtags in the format #tag@tginfoen in public chats. When you click on such a tag, the application shows only those messages that are published in the specified chat and contain the specified tag. A new setting in the Telegram for macOS beta version 11.9.272252 will allow channel admins to enable a "Post Suggestions" feature, letting them receive messages from users in exchange for stars, reports the "cosegram" channel.
The channel will earn 85% of the submission's price, regardless of whether the message is actually published. It's also worth noting that the messenger doesn't currently offer an option to accept these submissions for free. The minimum cost for a message is 1 star.
This feature is not yet functional and is in the early stages of development. How it works may change in the future.

In the latest versions of Telegram for iOS and macOS, links received from unknown users in private chats are displayed as plain text—they are not highlighted and cannot be clicked.
This behavior appears to be an intentional security measure by Telegram to protect users from scams and malicious content.
To make a link functional again, you can:
