Telegram is working on video stickers

An API Schema update revealed a mention on video stickers.

Likely, users will be able to create stickers from regular raster videos. We can assume a video format with transparency support will be used. One of the most popular such formats is WebM.

Currently all animated stickers are vector. To create your own animated stickers for Telegram, you need Adobe After Effects skills. Video stickers will make animated stickers easier to create, will allow to use camera footage or, for example, 3D animation.

Navigate Recent Chats

Telegram iOS beta got the ability to quickly return to a specific chat after following links to other chats or jumping to the next unread channel

Long-press on the Back button (top-left corner) will show a list of recent chats you can return.

Previously you had the option to achieve something similar by enabling Keep Chat Stack in debug settings, which will takes you through all navigated chats by pressing back button

Video Stickers

Telegram added support for stickers converted from regular videos, so that anyone can easily create detailed animated stickers using any video editing program.

you can publish your packs with the @Stickers bot – or add some of the new sets made by others.

Better Reactions

Reactions now have more compact animations. To send a larger effect, press and hold on a reaction in the menu.

Like interactive emoji, reactions are now synchronized, so your recipients will see the animations in real time.

 are used not only to express emotion, but also to answer questions and show approval – which is why they now have read status. Like for replies or @-mentions, a new ♡ button appears when your messages have unseen reactions.

Navigating Recent Chats

When jumping through unread channels or moving between chats, press and hold the 'Back' button to return to a specific chat. Opening chats from forwarded messages, links, usernames, profiles, etc. adds them to the list.
