• This year’s EWS certificate should be for:
Financial Year 2025–26
Validity Year 2026–27

• OBC Certificate → Usually accepted for 3 years (Non-Creamy Layer status must remain valid).

• SC/ST Certificate → Once issued, generally valid for lifetime unless category status changes officially.

• Even after the “No Crucial Date Required” type notifications, my advice is simple:
Issue a fresh certificate every year to avoid document verification problems.
