You pulled me into your arms as though I was about to vanish into thin air, like I was the most that a dream felt real, a dream close to its end that you wanted to savor to the last second.
You hugged me like you never wanted to let go, the words you'd said weeks before, you wanted them to come to life through the kisses you planted on my cheeks, my neck and my hands.
Next to you I felt like a goddess and not just another las, you'd managed to make me feel like all the celestial bodies were smiling down at me.
And so when I wish to recount that afternoon, I can't help but think that you were the dose of love I needed to stay alive; and I infact was the object of all earthly desires to you.
