just had the worst hard drive scare ever

the drives index decided to peace out and turned an organized library of files and folders into a bucket of a million mixed up LEGO sets with no instructions

thank fuck windows recovery actually came in clutch for once

decided to carve this to wait out the winter :3

Vintage story is MEAN

Got lost in the underground and was going to scamper to an old mineshaft I knew was towards the west but came across a broken translocator and decide "this place blows, hope this takes me somewhere better".

I fix the translocator while getting attacked by several nightmare drifters and a bowtorn which promptly headshots me to 1~ health, this increases the already pants wetting panic into pants shitting panic just for the translocator to finish charging and begin spooling up to teleport me away....

The thing took a few too many awfully long seconds to teleport me so I look down and see its supposed to be working only to look up right in time to get a stilt shivers teeth latching around my face turning the pants shitting terror into biblical terror so bad even the game said fuck no and closed immediately

Props to the maker and coder of the shivers, worst fucking creature I've had the misfortune of interacting with as they've condensed the horror of a roach vanishing out of sight only to fly at your face the next time you blinked
