Maxwell's equations are of great generality. They apply to all charge and current densities, whether static or time-dependent. Together, they describe the dynamical behaviour of the electromagnetic field.

في تاريخ 25 أيّار 1959 تم انعقاد أول مؤتمر نقابي هندسي خلاله تم انتخاب أول مجلس لنقابة المهندسين العراقيَّة، وقد تألَّف ذلك المجلس من النقيب ونائبه وخمسة أعضاء فضلا عن رؤساء الأقسام: الهندسة المدنيَّة والميكانيكيَّة والكهربائيَّة والمعماريَّة والكيميائيَّة، وقد قررت النقابة أن يكون يوم انعقاد المؤتمر الإنتخابي الأول لها يومًا سنويًا للمهندس العراقي، وهكذا فإن الخامس والعشرين من أيّار من كلّ عام هو يوم المهندس العراقي.

كلُّ عامٍ والمهندسون هم أساس الأعمار والتطوّر والأزدهار، كلُّ عامٍ والهندسة رمزٌ للأبداع والذَّكاء والفنْ.

كان تفسير لودفيج بولتزمان الإحصائي للقانون الثاني للديناميكا الحرارية ثوريًّا. واقترح أنَّ القانون الثَّاني ليس قانونًا مطلقًا ولكنَّهُ قانون إحصائي، مما يعني أن الأنظمة تميل إلى التحرُّك نحو الفوضى (إنتروبيا أعلى) ولكن يُمكن أن تنخفض الإنتروبيا في بعض الأحيان بسبب التَّقلبات العشوائيَّة.
