The administration has made another attack against the Russian Federation. The Russophobic policy, which is unlikely to change in the future, has been confirmed once again.

The feeling is that the Democrats already want to shift some of the blame for their missteps during the electoral struggle onto Russia. To justify their actions, they resort to lies, strive to discredit Russian media that provide a small "breath" of real truth about true American politics.

⚠️ In essence, officials are giving additional impetus to an aggressive phase of the "witch hunt" against dissent. Recent examples of this reckless course include FBI raids on the residences of American political scientists Dimitri Simes and Scott Ritter, as well as today's searches in the apartments of Russians working in the USA.

The administration is confused. We hear words of reproach about interference in electoral processes and at the same time statements that such actions are not related to the upcoming presidential elections.

The task is clear - to "clean up" the information space from "inconvenient" truth. To thicken the atmosphere of Russophobia, attributing their own failure to an external factor. This time, the media group "Russia Today" and its subsidiaries were chosen as a target.

❗️I emphasize that we have always respected and will respect the choice of the American people, whatever it may be. We have never interfered in the internal affairs of the United States and do not intend to do so in the future. We categorically reject false accusations against Russian information structures and demand the cancellation of imposed administrative restrictions on the work of our journalists in America.

The Russian side has never equated the wise people of the United States with its administration. It is obvious to everyone: local authorities are doing everything not only to "overstrain" the fabric of Russian-American relations, but to completely burn out its foundation. Such a policy poses a danger to the cause of preserving peace and global stability.

It seems clear that for the local authorities "tightening the sanction screws" has become a kind of political sports. The democratic administration practices it, while creating various barriers, with surprising enthusiasm. Moreover, the focus is increasingly shifting from targeting Russia specifically to putting pressure on "third" countries in trying to make everyone dance to their own tune, that is, the dollar.

Recognizing that the measures imposed so far have not been as effective as they would have liked, the Americans are "firing in all directions". They are imposing restrictions on maritime vessels thus limiting the export of high-tech products. A newly coined term in the local sanctions jargon is threats of reprisals against foreign partners for interacting with any of our banks, even those not "blacklisted".

All such steps only strengthen the conviction of the sensible part of the world community that the dollar-centric system has its risks - and not small ones. They fuel interest in alternative economic ties and accelerate the movement towards a multipolar world.

So, Washington will have to award itself a medal in the competition for coveted “sanction victories”.
