🔹We have noted that the August 4 study by Amnesty International on the situation in Ukraine was given a widespread coverage in the materials of U.S. news agencies. The document, in particular, notes: the Ukrainian military put civilians in harm’s way by establishing bases and operating weapons systems in schools and hospitals. Experts directly point out that such actions violate International Humanitarian Law.
❗️A large response to the publication proves that it is becoming increasingly difficult to hush up the truth. The criminal Kiev regime has no sympathy at all for its own population. Long before the start of the special military operation, we had warned the world community about the inhuman nature of the Ukrainian authorities.
‼️We hope that the study of human rights activists will help the audience in the United States to come to the right conclusions. Militants of nationalist formations kill civilians. The shelling of Donetsk has intensified in recent days which results in deaths of old people, women and children.
🔹The accusations against the Russian Armed Forces of allegedly committing "war crimes" pursue only one goal - to distort the true state of affairs, to slander our efforts to liberate Ukraine from the Nazis. 🔹We paid attention to the statements of a number of US officials, as well as public organizations criticizing the decision of the Russian court to sentence an American citizen Brittney Griner to 9 years in a penal colony for drug smuggling and possession. We note the distortion of facts and information. Strictly speaking, such actions are not surprising and have become a common practice here.
🔹The fact that the American authorities have legalized drug use remains an internal matter of the United States and does not apply to the legislation of other states. In our country, attempts to illegally import narcotic drugs are criminally punishable.
🔹We would like to remind that currently there are about a hundred Russian citizens in American prisons and pre-trial detention centers. Most of them are serving sentences for nonviolent crimes. Moreover, Washington has launched a real "hunt" for Russians when they go abroad. Since 2008, more than 50 such cases have been recorded.
🔹Citizens of Russia, once in the hands of the American Themis, as a rule, are subjected to a biased attitude on the part of investigative authorities and courts. In many cases, our compatriots are persuaded to admit guilt and make a deal with the investigation, despite the far-fetched accusations, and in case of refusal, they are sentenced to significant prison terms.
🔹We call on the United States to stop shifting problems from a sick head to a healthy one. The decision regarding Brittney Griner, as in the case of other American offenders, fully complies with the letter and spirit of Russian legislation.

Today I sat “the next but one” with Secretary of State at the discussion table. I did not see that he was interested in grabbing me by something. The buttons are all safe and sound.
🔹I have already had the opportunity to speak on the specific topic of people convicted in Russia and the United States. There is a special channel agreed by the Presidents. Whoever says anything in public, that channel remains relevant. It’s up to Americans if they again decide to resort to public diplomacy with loud statements about what steps they are going to take now. I would even say that it is their problem, since Americans frequently do not keep to the agreements on calm professional work not only on this particular topic, but also on many other issues. 🇷🇺🤝🇨🇳 I am sure that our strategic partnership is a motivating force behind the movement for the priority of international law over the “rules” invented by the United States and its satellites. The matter concerns above all international law, beginning with the UN Charter and its fundamental principle of the sovereign equality of states. The United States is violating this principle everywhere every day. We must respond to that.

‼️ Возмущены недружественными действиями властей Греции, которые под нажимом США, развернувших настоящую охоту за российскими гражданами в третьих странах под надуманными предлогами, выдали нашего соотечественника А.В.Винника на расправу американской карательной юстиции.
В нарушение статьи 36 Венской конвенции о консульских сношениях 1963 г. и вопреки официальному обращению Посольства России в Афинах к россиянину не допустили консульских работников диппредставительства, его адвоката и переводчика.

💬 А.И.#Антонов: Попытки переложить всю ответственность на Россию абсурдны. Как всегда - много лжи. Заявления непрофессиональны, без должного анализа и понимания ситуации, а точнее желания разобраться в существе проблемы.
🔹Текущая ситуация с дефицитом агропродукции сложилась в связи с целым рядом факторов. Это последствия пандемии, перебои в цепочках поставок, инфляция, ускорившаяся урбанизация, накопившаяся «усталость» почв, изменение климата.
🔹Отдельное место в этом ряду занимает «массив» незаконных антироссийских санкций. Ограничения намеренно составлены так, чтобы запутать и запугать зарубежные компании, максимально осложнить их сотрудничество с российскими предприятиями.

Надеемся, что украинская сторона и ее кураторы на Западе не будут пытаться подорвать этот процесс. Перестанут строить из себя «святош», когда речь заходит о приоритетности поставок голодающим развивающимся странам. В конце концов, насколько известно, два из трех вышедших сегодня утром из украинских гаваней сухогрузов направляются в Европу.

🔹Текущая ситуация с дефицитом агропродукции сложилась в связи с целым рядом факторов. Это последствия пандемии, перебои в цепочках поставок, инфляция, ускорившаяся урбанизация, накопившаяся «усталость» почв, изменение климата.
🔹Отдельное место в этом ряду занимает «массив» незаконных антироссийских санкций. Ограничения намеренно составлены так, чтобы запутать и запугать зарубежные компании, максимально осложнить их сотрудничество с российскими предприятиями.

🔹The current situation with the shortage of agricultural products has developed due to a number of factors. These are the consequences of the pandemic, disruptions in supply chains, inflation, accelerated urbanization, accumulated soil fatigue, climate change.
🔹A separate place in this row takes the "array" of illegal anti-Russian sanctions. The restrictions are deliberately designed to confuse and intimidate foreign companies and complicate their cooperation with Russian enterprises as much as possible.
🔹Despite this, our country continues to make efforts to strengthen food security. Since 2003, we have been making contributions to the fund of the UN World Food Program. We act as a reliable and responsible supplier of products to the world agricultural market. We are actively working with foreign colleagues. During Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov's recent tour to African countries, our partners confirmed the rich, mutually beneficial and fruitful nature of the meetings. Let me remind you, we are talking about such states as Egypt, the Republic of the Congo, Uganda, Ethiopia.
🔹Washington, it seems, could not come to terms with its absence among the participants of the quadrilateral initiative on the safe transportation of grain and food from the ports of Ukraine of July 22. It is significant that American officials generally prefer not to talk about the signing of a memorandum between Russia and the United Nations on the same day to promote the export of Russian agricultural products.

We hope that the Ukrainian side and its curators in the West will not try to undermine this process as well as they will stop pretending to be "saints" when it comes to prioritizing supplies to starving developing countries. After all, as far as we know, two of the three dry cargo ships that left Ukrainian harbors this morning are heading to Europe.
