🇷🇺🇹🇯 It is symbolic that we meet in the year of the 30th anniversary of the Treaty of Friendship, Cooperation and Mutual Assistance. Last year we celebrated 30 years of diplomatic relations.
Since then, we have established a solid legal framework: more than 200 interstate and intergovernmental agreements have been signed. There are strong ties between the businesses of the two countries. More than 70 Russian regions are involved in expanding business cooperation with our Tajikistani friends.
Of course, we conduct political dialogue and have regular contacts at the level of heads of government. We were delighted to host President Emomali Rahmon on the occasion of the 78thanniversary of Victory Day on May 9. As you rightly said, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin visited Tajikistan in March, when important talks took place. Just tomorrow, a series of events under the #CIS and the #EAEU aegis will open in Sochi, to be attended by Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan Kokhir Rasulzoda.
🤝 We appreciate the attitude towards the Russian language displayed by the presidents and our Tajikistani friends working in culture and education. Russian universities are opening their branches here. The Russian-Tajik (Slavonic) University is working successfully. Last year, we hosted Days of Tajikistan in Russia. This year, we are preparing to hold Days of Russia in Tajikistan.
In international affairs, we participate fruitfully in the CIS, #SCO, CA+Russia, #UN, #CSTO and many other formats. We expect to hold useful talks today.

💬 I completely share what you have said about the quality of our relations, strategic partnership and alliance. Our presidents have set the tone. They are building our relations on the foundation that had been laid over the past years. It is of principle importance, and we have praised it, that President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon took part in the Victory Parade on Red Square on May 9 together with other leaders.
Today we have a lot of topics that are being addressed for the benefit of our countries and peoples, above all economic and energy issues, which are the foundations of our economies. Today it is impossible to solve problems on one’s own, and that is why regional processes and integration formats in Central Asia and on the Eurasian continent are becoming more attractive.
🤝 We cooperate closely in these formats, including within the #CSTO and the #SCO. I believe that today we will outline other ways to support this cooperation even more actively and effectively in the interest of our nations.
I completely agree with you that it is necessary to further coordinate our actions on the international stage, above all at the #UN, as friends and allies do.

📖 На церемонии по случаю 224-летия со дня рождения великого поэта учащиеся школы при Посольстве прочитали строки из стихотворений А.С.Пушкина.
🇷🇺🇺🇸 Праздничные мероприятия сегодня также проходят во многих русскоязычных образовательных учреждениях в Иллинойсе, Калифорнии, Мэриленде, Техасе и др.
📆 Открытие в 2000 году памятника А.С.Пушкину в Вашингтоне стало знаком признания огромного вклада отечественной культуры в копилку мировой цивилизации. 💬 А.А.Леденёв: Регулярные попытки администрации через подконтрольные издания тиражировать новые версии беспрецедентной диверсии против газовых магистралей в Балтийском море стали притчей во языцех. На этот раз в качестве «эксклюзива» подается конфиденциальная информация о том, что властям США от отдельных союзников в Европе якобы было заранее известно о планировании Украиной действий, призванных подорвать европейскую энергобезопасность.
👉 Скоординированная кампания Запада во главе с Соединенными Штатами с целью запутать международное сообщество шита белыми нитками. Причина множащихся теорий и версий, «обвешиваемых» пресловутыми «закрытыми» данными местного разведсообщества, проста до банальности. Здесь всеми силами стремятся предать забвению скандальные обещания американских официальных лиц «положить конец» отечественным трубопроводам. Равно как и возведенные ими препятствия по недопущению запуска на площадке Совета Безопасности ООН транспарентного международного расследования, к которому призывали Россия, Китай и Бразилия.

Решительно осуждаем разрушение вооруженными силами Украины Каховской ГЭС, которое привело к масштабной гуманитарной и экологической катастрофе.
Подрыв дамбы плотины вызвал значительный подъем уровня воды вниз по течению Днепра. Затоплены населённые пункты, тысячи человек нуждаются в эвакуации. Она уже началась. Колоссальный ущерб от этой диверсии киевского режима нанесён сельскому хозяйству региона и экосистеме устья Днепра.
В результате неминуемого обмеления Каховского водохранилища будет затруднено водоснабжение Крыма, нарушится мелиорация сельскохозяйственных земель Херсонской области.
Произошедшее является террористическим актом, направленным против инфраструктуры сугубо гражданского назначения. Он был заранее и целенаправленно спланирован киевским режимом в военных целях в рамках так называемого «контрнаступления» ВСУ. Киевский режим не только подвергал массированным обстрелам Каховскую ГЭС, но и преднамеренно довёл уровень воды в Каховском водохранилище до критической отметки, открыв шлюзы Днепровской ГЭС.
Следственный комитет России возбудил уголовное дело по факту совершения террористического акта, повлёкшего причинение значительного имущественного ущерба и наступление иных тяжких последствий.
☝️ Российская сторона инициирует рассмотрение данного преступления киевского режима в Совете Безопасности ООН, уставных и директивных органах ОБСЕ и других международных организаций.
❗️ Призываем мировое сообщество осудить преступные деяния украинских властей, носящие всё более бесчеловечный характер и представляющие серьезную угрозу региональной и глобальной безопасности.

We strongly condemn the destruction of the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Plant by the Ukrainian armed forces that has led to a devastating humanitarian and environmental disaster.
Bombing the dam has led to a significant rise in the water level downstream of the Dnieper River. Entire neighbourhoods were flooded, and thousands of people had to be evacuated. The evacuation is already underway.
This act of sabotage by the Kiev regime has caused devastating damage to the farmland in the region and the ecosystem at the mouth of the Dnieper River. The inevitable drop in the water level of the Kakhovka reservoir will affect Crimea’s water supply, and will hinder the improvement of agricultural land in the Kherson region.
This is a terrorist act directed against purely civilian infrastructure. It was planned in advance by the Kiev regime for military purposes as part of the Ukraine forces’ “counteroffensive.” The Kiev regime not only launched mass artillery attacks against the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Plant, but also deliberately brought the water level in the Kakhovka reservoir to a critical level by opening the Dneprovsk Hydroelectric Power Plant’s floodgates.
The Investigative Committee of Russia has opened a criminal case on this act of terrorism that has led to significant property damage and other grave consequences.
☝️ The Russian side will initiate a discussion for considering this crime by the Kiev regime in the UN Security Council, the statutory and decision-making bodies of the OSCE and other international organisations.
❗️ We call on the international community to condemn the criminal acts committed by the Ukrainian authorities, which are becoming increasingly inhumane and pose a major threat to regional and global security.

❓: How could you comment on another portion of “leaks” in the media close to the U.S. Administration regarding the terrorist attacks against Nord Stream pipelines?
💬Andrey Ledenev: Regular attempts by the Administration to replicate new versions of unprecedented sabotage against gas pipelines in the Baltic Sea through controlled media outlets have become a byword. This time, as an "exclusive" piece is portrayed some sort of confidential information that the US authorities allegedly knew in advance from certain allies in Europe about Ukraine's plans, designed to undermine European energy security.
👉The coordinated campaign of the West, led by the United States, to confuse the international community is sewn with white threads. The reason for the multiplying theories and versions, supported by the notorious "closed" data of the local intelligence community, is simple to the point of banality. They spare no effort to put into oblivion the scandalous promises of American officials to "put an end" to our pipelines. As well as the obstacles they have erected to prevent the launch of a transparent international investigation at the UN Security Council, which Russia, China and Brazil have called for.
☝️We are convinced that the truth will prevail. For our part, we will continue to work together with like-minded partners to establish the real circumstances of the incident, as well as to punish the perpetrators and sponsors of terrorist acts against critical infrastructure.

📅 #ВЭтотДень в 1887 году родился кавалер Георгиевского креста III и IV степеней, дважды Герой Советского Союза, один из лидеров партизанского движения — Сидор Артемьевич Ковпак.
Свои таланты и смелость Сидор Артемьевич продемонстрировал ещё в ходе Первой мировой войны в составе 186-го Асландузского пехотного полка. Он ходил в разведку, брал языков, участвовал в битве при Краснике и Брусиловском прорыве.
🎖 В первые дни Великой Отечественной войны собрал и возглавил партизанский отряд, эффективно действовавший в тылу врага. В октябре 1941 года бойцы под его командованием в ходе сражения с танковым подразделением оккупантов смогли захватить в качестве трофея три боевых машины противника.
Сидор Артемьевич часто шутил, что основным своим поставщиком оружия и продовольствия считает Гитлера, так как отряд регулярно пополнял вооружение, амуницию и продовольствие за счёт удачных рейдов по тылам противника.
Одной из самых известных партизанских операций за всю историю стал стодневный Карпатский рейд Ковпака по глубоким тылам нацистов летом 1943 года. Отряд прошёл с боями более 2 тысяч километров, уничтожил и ранил от 3 до 5 тысяч солдат и офицеров противника, пустил под откос 19 эшелонов и нанесли значительный урон нефтехранилищам врага.
☝️ Важным успехом стало выведение из строя железнодорожного узла в Тернополе, которое существенно затруднило переброску немецких войск под Курск и оказало влияние на исход Курской Битвы.
