💬 It’s been fun to watch the government crisis in Britain unfold, with two key ministers resigning yesterday and five other high-ranking but less important politicians resigning shortly after.
The scandal revolves around recent drunken misconduct by former Minister of State for Europe and the Americas Conservative Christopher Pincher. Prime Minister Johnson now stands accused of being fully aware of Pincher's checkered past when he appointed him Deputy Chief Whip of the Conservative Party in parliament.
Many in Britain and elsewhere were shocked.
But those in the know saw it coming.
One of our diplomats who worked in Britain attended as an observer the Conservative Party conventions that traditionally brought together top Tories led by the prime minister. Our diplomat’s eyes were wide with amazement when he returned. The party convention looked more like a drunken frat party. A Russian diplomat is unlikely to be spooked by excessive alcohol consumption, but British party officials didn’t just lose their spatial orientation – it was their human orientation, including sexual, too.
Well-dressed party activists start their mornings with high-end champagne. Then they switch to beer, which they drink in mind-boggling quantities. The parties start later in the afternoon with Tories going around the city emptying the liquor shelves of every bar.
The ruling Conservative Party has created nearly insurmountable economic hardships for ordinary hardworking Britons.
No matter how often they repeat their “Moscow, Kremlin, Putin” mantra, they are unable to distract the public. People know who brought the situation in Britain to the brink of collapse and even the risk of disunion. Some “party.”
Looks like Robbie Williams needs to sit down and write a new hit titled “Party like a Tory.”
This problem is not ours. It’s a British problem. But London is trying to resolve its domestic problems by looking abroad and engaging in anti-Russian activities, provocations in Ukraine, global economic destabilisation, and financial piracy.

Interesante .... pero lanzan en Turquía una campaña que busca sacar al país de la OTAN
• El Partido Vatan señala que "abandonar la OTAN es la práctica más eficaz contra las conspiraciones estadounidenses". Asimismo, agregan que el paso para defender la independencia y la seguridad "acelerará el proceso de desintegración dentro de la OTAN y contribuirá a la paz mundial".
• El presidente del partido afirmó que la "vida independiente" de su país solo es posible si "rompe las cadenas de la OTAN", que tiene "una historia sangrienta" contra Turquía.
"Si salimos de la OTAN, los precios de la energía caerán. Porque podremos encontrar energía barata de Rusia, Irán, Azerbaiyán y Catar, nuestros amigos amenazados por la OTAN"
"El 90 % de la nación turca ahora ve a la OTAN como un enemigo", aseguró un presidente provincial del partido.

Durante una conferencia de prensa. el Ministro de Exteriores ruso, Serguéi Lavrov, calificó de mentira las acusaciones de Ucrania de que Rusia bombardeó sus propias ciudades fronterizas.
❓ ¿Qué opina de las afirmaciones de Kiev de que el ejército ruso supuestamente está bombardeando sus propias ciudades para interrumpir las entregas de armas occidentales a Ucrania?
💬 Serguéi Lavrov: Mienten, y los hechos son bien conocidos, estos hechos se presentan por nuestro Ministerio de Defensa a diario.
Occidente debe ser consciente de su responsabilidad por la muerte de civiles, principalmente en el Donbass y en otras partes de Ucrania donde el régimen de Kiev usa estas armas contra la población civil, como un medio de intimidación, en general, esto es terrorismo de Estado.

Moscú convierte una estación de metro en un escenario para 'El lago de los cisnes'
Este año, la celebración del Día del Transporte de Moscú (Rusia), que se llevó a cabo el 9 de julio, no incluyó solo trenes, tranvías, buses, sus maquinistas, conductores y personal técnico, sino una presentación de ballet en un espacio poco convencional.
Así, el Departamento de Transporte de la Alcaldía de la capital rusa ha convertido una de las estaciones de metro, Novoslobódskaya, en un escenario donde bailarines de ballet presentaron un fragmento de la famosa obra 'El Lago de los Cisnes', con la composición musical de Piotr Chaikovski.
El insólito evento cultural se ofreció a más de 300 espectadores. Con las luces del andén apagadas, dejando solo la iluminación en los vitrales, la estación se convirtió en un lugar ideal para la actuación, según un comunicado de la autoridades.

Не может быть, но....несмотря на широкий спектр антироссийских санкций, Великобритания продолжает получать топливо российского производства. В стране ощутимо не хватает собственных мощностей для нефтепереработки, поэтому до 20% необходимого топлива британцам все равно приходится импортировать из России. Чтобы проводить поставки ниже санкционного радара, импортёры взяли на вооружение недавно придуманную технологию смешивания нефти из разных стран с целью снижения доли российского топлива до 49%.
Помимо Великобритании, аппетит к российскому топливу может вскоре вырасти и у Франции. По заявлениям крупных генерирующих компаний, энергоустановки страны массово отразятся к переходу на мазут из-за нехватки газа. Учитывая сложную ситуацию с трубопроводными поставками и чрезмерную дороговизну СПГ, российский, ну или наполовину российский мазут, может стать для французских генераторов самым простым выходом из ситуации.

“Environmentally friendly” Austria has launched a coal-fired power station in Mellach. The US has boosted its oil production to 12 million barrels per day. US Secretary of Energy Jennifer Granholm boasted that this figure is higher than under the Bush, Obama or Trump administrations. So what about the energy transition and abandoning hydrocarbons?
Permission for Italian and Spanish energy companies to use Venezuelan oil is also among these steps.
At the same time, the US Supreme Court has rallied to defend the coal industry in West Virginia and ruled to limit the Environmental Protection Agency’s authority to regulate the state’s coal mining industry.
What is happening? A green counter-revolution?
☝️ But it gets even more absurd. The green transition has turned into a transition to green camouflage given the amount of weapons supplied to Ukraine by those who only yesterday were environmental activists.

В частности, в оправдание выбора Хиросимы местом проведения саммита «Группы семи» прозвучал тезис о том, что упомянутому городу нет более подходящей альтернативы, когда в условиях дестабилизации миропорядка «становится реальностью использование Россией ядерного оружия и угроза им».
Поражает цинизм, с которым предпринята попытка вписать безосновательную критику нашей страны в контекст трагедии Хиросимы.
❗️ В Хиросиме и Нагасаки не могут не помнить, что варварский приказ был отдан в Вашингтоне.

La imagen de la mujer a través del lente soviético.
Para otro #DomingoDeArte les muestro una exposición dedicada a la imagen femenina en la fotografía de la Unión Soviética.
“Y todo se trata de ella,” es el nombre de esta muestra que tiene obras de fotógrafos reconocidos, fotografía de publicidad y fotografía callejera.
Estas fotos muestran cómo ha cambiado la representación de la mujer a través de las décadas, de 1920 a 1990. La mujer deportista, la combatiente, la madre, la joven, la profesional, la modelo, etc.
Aparte del periodismo, me apasiona mucho la fotografía. Espero que les guste tanto como a mí. ¡Una buena semana para todos!
