From No Scholarships to a Full-Ride

👨‍🎓My name is Asadbek Ruziev, and I am 17 years old. I was born in Termez, Surkhandarya region, and I am a graduate of secondary school No. 225 in Tashkent.

The first time I applied, I did not secure any admissions that came with a scholarship.

However, the second time I began to apply, I decided to utilize EducationUSA’s advising services. They gave me the opportunity to meet with representatives of American universities and to have one-on-one consultations with experts. I was excited to use this opportunity…and it really helped me!

I was admitted to four American Universities on a 100% Scholarship basis. Among these, I chose the one most suited to my interests and goals, and I am proud to say that I will begin my undergraduate degree in robotics engineering at Arizona State University (ASU) in Tempe, Arizona in August 2023.

👨‍🎓I am Firdavs Sotimboyev, an 18-year-old student born in Namanagan and a graduate of Secondary School No. 49 in Namangan.

My desire to apply to American universities came from a YouTube video that I enjoyed watching.

I took my first big step when I decided to learn English as a freshman in high school. Along the way, I got a chance to meet a lot of like-minded people. The way to my dreams (I usually say “plans”) became clearer when I started to learn about American universities. I eagerly researched different options and carefully curated a list of schools that aligned with my academic interests and provided opportunities for personal growth.
I meticulously prepared my applications, pouring my heart and soul into each essay and extracurricular description….

Three Tips for Attending College in the United States

Hello, my name is Adkhamjon. I am from Samarkand and studied at the Academic Lyceum under SB TUIT named after Muhammad al-Khorazmi. Currently, I am studying at the College of Wooster in Wooster, Ohio. I have already visited about 20 U.S. states and I would be happy to share my tips for incoming students.

1. Learn more about the universities before you apply.
Learn about what opportunities a university can offer you. For example, I did an internship this summer and got paid by my college for it. However, there are bigger opportunities and career planning resources (help with resume building, interview practice, cover letters, etc.) that I did not know about when I first applied….

Hi there,
I’m MukhammadAli, a current sophomore student at Beloit College (Wisconsin, USA) majoring in Quantitative Economics and EducationUSA Academy alumnus of 2021. I graduated from a public high school in Asaka, Andijan in May 2022 and started sending my applications to colleges in the U.S. and other countries. I got into Trinity University(Texas), University of San Francisco, Northwestern University in Qatar, Ankara University (with full-ride) and eventually enrolled in Beloit College from where I received a full-tuition scholarship.

I worked on my college essays, resume (extracurricular activities) very carefully, since they tell the admissions counselors about the student’s interests and experience. I was involved in different community and volunteering programs, academic clubs, contests and competitions as a high school student and maintained a maximum GPA….

👩‍🎓I am Vazira Ikhtiyorova, winner of international scholarships valued at more than $500,000. I have been accepted into 35 universities worldwide. I have been accepted by Adelphi, Tampa, Arizona, St. Cloud State, Johnson and Wales, Maryville, Temple, Miami, the University of Iowa, Kent State, and many others. My passion for the American education System began when I won the EducationUSA Academy in 2019, which helped me explore American culture. I studied STEM at St. Cloud State University, and it was the best part of my high school period. Due to the pandemic, I had to start my education  and I was not able to pursue the program further. However, I then won the ISDB Turkiye Burslari Government Scholarship Program in Computer Engineering at Marmara University in Istanbul, Turkey….

Rinat Nailev

My name is Rinat Nailev, and I'm 20 years old. I am from Tashkent, Mirabad district. I graduated from school N294 and Westminster Lyceum (ALWIUT). I am currently in my third year as a junior at Berea College in Lexington, Kentucky, where my tuition, room and meals are fully covered.

Here is an overview of how I got the incredible opportunity to get an education in the United States. Before you read this, just keep in mind that anybody with the right mindset can achieve results such as these—or even better!

At the beginning of my 2nd year at ALWIUT, most of my friends began the hustle of applying to universities abroad. I didn’t know where to go or what to do, but I knew one thing for sure: I want a degree from an American university or college….

👨‍🎓My name is Abdullokh. I am from Tashkent and graduated from Cambridge International School. My desire to apply to American universities was sparked when I joined speaking clubs at ACT and met Abdulloh Abduqodirov, who is a student at Illinois Wesleyan University.

During that encounter, Abdulloh held a certificate, and I confidently told him that he would see me with the same certificate in hand next year. This moment marked the beginning of my journey to apply to U.S. universities. I dedicated a week to simply refining my essays and attending virtual conferences, where I gained insights into American culture. I connected with many like-minded individuals who shared a passion for pursuing their dreams.

In these classes, we not only learned about the components of college applications but also received valuable life lessons from our mentors….
