#Onboarding :
Number of suggestions discussed how improve member recruitment and make for a smoother onboarding process. Suggestions and some ideas further worked on. New ideas were also raised on using different forms of gamification. Differing opinions whether this a good approach or not.

#Two_member_categories :
Question posted if it would make sense for EdenOnEOS to consider having two categories of affiliations - "active member" and "member affiliate". The latter then a category for inactive but supportive members or entities? No added comment nor discussion for now.

#Open_office :
Every day of the work week (Mon-Fri), from UTC 13:00, anyone may join "Eden Office Hours": https://us02web.zoom.us/j/88060626769?pwd=akhxeTRRSjV6REkxOWNNY3doMzBrUT09
Open to all, use as background noise when working and/or ask any questions about Eden on EOS. Aim is to establish communication between members and community to further improve transparency and productivity.

#Freelance_eos :
A new proposal posted for freelancing platform, similar to Fiverr and Upwork, built on eos platform and governed by Eden. Key points included wide range of services such as tasks, consultation, part-time contracts etc. Eden would generate revenue from a fee for every successful job & any resolving of disputes. By some this was deemed a god fit with already ongoing ideas and proposer lead the continuing work on this idea.

#Proposal_standard :
Snippets here below from a post which basically asked how we justify near term funding through Eden:
- "We had talked about a proposal standard which would help streamline the work for everyone."
- "What’s the vision? How do we really see Eden impacting specific data points that will create value? How are we going to assess our own efforts?"
Discussion ensued and continues.

#Onboarding :
As been noticed also elsewhere there is an upswing in interest to join EdenOnEOS membership following the announcement of first official election to take place in just a couple of weeks. New member applications and facilitation of this process discussed also in this group.

A comprehensive guide on how to apply become an Eden member can be found via this link: https://forums.eoscommunity.org/t/new-eden-members-how-to-prepare-to-get-inducted/4431 and here a few snipped shortened instructions/words as relate to links and info found via link above:
- To get inducted to Eden the first thing you need to do, is to introduce your self in the EOS Forum.
- Go to Telegram: @EdenOSinfo and post the link to your introduction.
- If you don’t have an EOS Account, please create an EOS Account.
- To understand the induction process, you can see this flowchart how done.
- A summary all links what to read and important to do before you get inducted.

The above just a wee hint of the good info via recommended link.

#BP_Proxy
With word that the Eden Member's Approved Proxies soon ready go public, Eden members were invited review the same and give feedback. Some good discussions followed on various details. It seems likely the proxy website will open to all already within a day or two.

Friday to Sunday 2021-09-19

#Miscellaneous topics discussed past 3 days with quite a number of these related to #Onboarding, #Inductions and EOS related technical advise. Also new project ideas and #Funding_Proposals were presented and discussed.

#Google_Cloud_BP became a major topic from the viewpoint that once they achieve top 21 and become an active BP this will present itself as a marketing opportunity. Discussion continue whether it is a good idea to already now support and push for Google in order to try make this happen sooner rather than later.

#Eden_Candidates :
Here from a post with a prediction "I think eventually we'll see Eden candidates running on a collection of Pomelo projects that they support as their platform. The Pomelo projects themselves will have the really in-depth details like you're describing here. The candidate will vet those projects in advance, create a portfolio of projects they support, and with a summary that leads into the deep dive. The limited time windows in the election process are really the hurdle that prevent you from getting too deep into things."

#Onboarding :
Words copied here to give just another example of the many ideas and thoughts raised and discussed in Eden member group:
QUESTION: "Could you set up a way for Eden delegates to batch create and send those accounts and then settle with Greymass in $EOS from our budgets? I think every Eden member should be able to give someone a network account easily."
Greymass ANSWER: "While we don't have automated systems in place for bulk purchasing - anyone can reach out to us and we can coordinate to make it happen. Eventually it'll all be automated but for now it's something we manually have to do."

#EOS_beginner_guide :
The work on a beginner's guide to EOS was announced and a draft of the article "A Beginner's Guide to EOS" was posted. Comments and discussion followed on what topics/resources to be included in the guide as well as a review by many of the article and feedback given.

#Onboarding :
The need to push updated EOS related information to number of sites, internal and external, was raised. The discussion mainly on various ways to achieve this and how sync the effort. As was expressed in one post ""How does someone who's never used EOS enter the community from the sea of crypto? There are certainly many more people trading "EOS" on Binance/Coinbase than who have an Anchor or Token pocket wallet.""

#Block_One :
There was a continuation in discussions how best move forward in relation to B1. Various ideas on how try discern B1's intended path ahead so that the EOS community may plan and adapt accordingly in our own aims and path ahead.
