— This has struck me for many years, since I was knocking around in the Oxbridge and Ivy League bubble that churns out the evangelical élite. Now that the evangelical élite has largely gone to the bad, it falls to linguists to defang them.

After all, rhetoric is classically understood as the top layer of language, above the foundation of grammar and the middle layer of logic.

By pointing out ungrammatical and illogical statements made passionately by “Big Eva” churchmen—especially if one does it in a normie-appealing, unselfconscious way, as described in this piece—one can undo a lot of damage.

I have just banned someone. His spurious but harmless claims that “unalienable” was anything other than a pre-C18th synonym for “inalienable” (paralleled by the same development in many other negative adjectives) I left uncommented, but he then wrote that “juridical” means “Jew-ridicule”.
No mockery of language on this channel. That’s what the enemy does.

For clarity, there is a perfectly valid point to be made that the intended meaning of “inalienable” over time was weakened from “incapable of alienation” to something more statist. I won’t, however, entertain cod evidence such as Google Ngram Viewer screenshots or dictionary definitions as supposedly proving an etymological basis for it. That’s not how variants function in the corpus of a language; rather, one variant wins out in standard usage over time.
There can be malice and sorcery afoot in the choice of variant words, but in the case of this pair of variants, it doesn’t have a basis in grammar or standard usage. It might well do in occult circles of power, and so reasserting “unalienable” to be sure of the strongest meaning is commendable.

Amusing approach he takes: “The plebs are now enlightened enough for us to hand them their freedom back, and … we’re faintly noticing that they’re less than gruntled.”

Some of the police provocation from 2Feb. Just look at these two toasting their success. They sprayed the eye of 73 yo man who had been dozing in his camp chair and stood up to defend a woman. This is what they do. Target an older, small woman to provoke the men. They want to incite trouble so they have an excuse to evacuate the camp. You serve us. We pay your wages. And there's more of us than you and more on the way.

73yo man, here for his grandchildren's future, pepper sprayed in the eye. He didn't have a heart attack, but man is rubbing his chest so maybe some warning chest pain. Police don't seem very perturbed. Thugs.
