It's a major minor party or possibly a minor major party. Hope that helps.

That reminded me of Arthur Scargill the miner major who was only a minor major.

This fine man is actually leader of the political group in the European Parliament that could decide Ursula's fate in the coming weeks. He also wrote The Demon in Democracy, a book with a rare honesty as to whether Poland is better off now than she was before the Iron Curtain fell.

— This is a particular horror to me because Kinlochbervie is as far away from London as you can get (it's right beneath Cape Wrath) and long-term subscribers may recall my photos from there last midsummer when I visited the last Free Presbyterians there. Alex

This year, Armenia will receive 10 million euros from the European Peace Facility for the first time. Hungary has lifted its embargo on this aid, according to "Azatutyun" (Radio Free Europe), which cites diplomatic sources in the European Union.

These sources indicate that "all member states of the Union are now ready to give the green light. It is expected that the project will be approved first by the ambassadors of the member states on July 17, and then by the foreign ministers on July 22."

Previously, Hungary had vetoed the project, demanding that Azerbaijan also receive assistance from the European Peace Facility. According to "Azatutyun" (Radio Free Europe), Budapest's proposal was not accepted. Instead, a compromise solution was chosen to break the deadlock: funds for Baku will be allocated separately for demining work, but not from this facility.

The New York Times' contribution to this year's Fourth of July:

"The rubes must stop their carbon dioxide-emitting squibbing follies and cringingly obey His Majesty the Washington D.C."

A German corollary of UK Column explains how we punch so far above our weight:

"The distributed propaganda network maintained by our establishment press is very expensive. Especially the opportunity costs are very high. In a healthy, uncoordinated media environment, it would be impossible for somebody like me to make a living blogging about the insanity of German politics.

I’d have very stiff competition from a multitude of professional, well-funded journalists who would be fighting at every moment to take my readers away from me by writing the kinds of things I do, only more effectively, more frequently and with fewer typographical errors.

Of course I am a very small player in the broader ecosystem of alternative media; the audience for this content is hundreds of millions strong. It consists of all those people who have been written off by the establishment press, as the necessary price of exercising narrative control."
