Tokayev: “We’ll be fine. Defence, schmefence. The Anglo-American deep state has so many investments in our oil and gas since we courted them.”
Putin: «Саддам Хусейн тоже так думал.»

I guess #Putin belongs to the Realist school of thought in international relations, and Kazakhstan's #Tokayev might be in the Idealist camp. Or somewhere in between.

This Valdai Forum footage has surfaced as Kazakhstan fends off what are reported to be foreign mercenaries causing havoc in its capital Almaty.

To be honest I cannot be bothered with this 'ethno-nationalist' ideology. I didn't get to the Jewish Question, but racialism and anti-semitism are well known Romanist strategies. These guys may mean well but they are at still 5 years away from getting their minds around how the system really works. It must have been tough for Alex not to just say off the cuff, "you and your audience are wrong, goodbye"

I won’t make a frequent habit of forwarding chats under my posts to the channel, but James’ contribution is particularly salient. I am going out on a limb to engage with the more learned ethnonationalists because our audience substantially overlaps with theirs. Often, ethnonationalists have the same frustration with us, because we “fail to see” or “are too cowardly to admit” that “it’s the Jews”.
What keeps me engaged, and to a lesser extent David Scott and sometimes Brian Gerrish, is that for the latter half of last decade, no-one but ethnonationalists enunciated any coherent outrage at the fate of industrially raped English girls or the theft of children by “social services” and “family courts”. In meetings, I found them the bravest of young men in both Britain and the Netherlands, and often—to use a word heard in American Christian circles—teachable.
The cherry on top was the grand finale of Millenniyule on 29th December 2021, when the best of all ethnonationalist commentators, Morgoth and Millennial Woes, frankly admitted that UK Column was years ahead of the ethnonationalists in our analysis of world power structures (just as James observes above) and that Covidianism had brought this painfully to light.
I also share with the ethnonationalists that I’m not afraid to say the Jews have the wrong understanding of the Bible, that the church cannot and must not ask rabbinical Judaism for exegesis (Romans 3:1,2—God committed the text of the Old Testament to the Jews for painstaking safekeeping, not the interpretation), and that I am glad and grateful to God for my people and wish to live among them and see them multiply and prosper.
As soon as we get into the term “white”, the debate becomes far more clouded (is it an historically justified term? does it exclude the limited immigration of lawful foreigners? where does whiteness stop as you head Mediterranean- and Balkan-wards?), and as soon as we speak of the USA, we likewise encounter a terminology struggle, but I know who my people are and I am not going to join the movement of the past generation to be the only ethnic group on earth that isn’t allowed to have a culture and a homeland.
The retired number two at GCHQ, a leading light in a Cheltenham church and a pillar of polite society, disowned me when he realised that this was my stance, having mentored me during my service there; the ethnonationalists, meanwhile, have been expressly planning to make room for Biblical Christians in their midst and have been rediscovering the manly virtues that the Apostle Paul endorses—strength, courage, mastery and honour—and so I shall continue to speak to the better ethnonationalists and the Fourteen Words crowd.
James is right that it is sometimes exasperating, but it is also an unparalleled opportunity for educating sincere young minds and for enriching and cleaning up their discursive language, which they are painfully aware has been bastardised.

Some of you will be aware of the Moravian Brethren, the church begun by the proto-Protestant martyr Jan Hus. The eastern end of the Czech Lands has remained a surprisingly pious corner of Europe, sending out remarkable missionaries, one of whom ended up sharing a cell with al-Qa'ida men in Khartoum for the crime of Bible distribution—one of the privileges of my life was to interpret for this dear man to a Dutch audience after his release.
This album showcases the gorgeousness of Moravian Christian music. It is a collaboration between the most accomplished Moravian folk group, Hradišťan, and the world-renowned girls' choir, Bambini di Praga. There are Christmas carols, lullabies and pastoral songs, all sung in deep harmony with mellifluous string accompaniment and occasional strains of the bagpipes.

In honour of our Czech members, here—available in several formats—is another superb resistance manual from my birth year, Václav Havel’s The Power of the Powerless. Who could have known that Providence would make him head of state a decade after he wrote of powerlessness?

Principle 7 of 286. Constitutions are meant to secure the blessings of liberty for those yet unborn, so it is a duty (not “unchristian”) to suspect those to whom you have entrusted your birthright.

Dear all, could I please ask those of you who pray to have in your prayers a thought for those with close family abroad. As you know, some countries have turned into gulags, and Italy is perhaps the worst. I will be so bold as to ask a special prayer for Italy and my family. I'm strong, a fighter, and I want to believe everything will be eventually fine if we don't give up. I have no intention whatsoever to be depressed and I will never surrender, but I'm having a bad day today. It will pass. I feel that the prayers of good people could help.

Vera Sharav: Nazism is a state of mind- It didn't start in Auschwitz

"Auschwitz did not begin with Auschwitz. Most people can't comprehend real evil, we who had experience with the holocaust can recognize the signs of a genocide, it begins with the overturing of civil rights."

Someone has been kind enough to ask whether I have any books out. The answer is no, I have deliberately chosen to constrain my output to UK Column, but I am collaborating with Gevorg Virats on book projects this year.

Praise God for these two good men.
David Scott and I once bumped into Neil Oliver at Bristol Airport. They were both awaiting the Edinburgh flight. David swiftly dumped me to stand Neil Oliver a pint in the departure lounge bar. I gladly forgive David the discourtesy, given what a fine man Neil Oliver is.

A new idiom enters the English language tonight:

“He was bricking himself like Neil Oliver’s producer.”

Some frank admissions by the chief editor of the Lancet in 2015, repeating what was told him under Chatham House rules at the Wellcome Trust—the massive health policy organisation (second only to the Gates Foundation in clout) which since 2015 has busied itself minutely co-ordinating Western nations’ pandemic preparedness plans.

Yes, it was priceless. Her type “in politics” isn’t exactly used to being told “I’m not going to debate you … it’s irrelevant” in response to “Well, it happened to me …”

One of UK Column’s star researchers sent me this. It’s worth meditating on.
