EU-funded project aiming at increasing the capacity of civil society organisations and activists from the six Eastern Partnership countries – Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, and Ukraine.

A new phase of the EU-funded Eastern Partnership Civil Society Facility will run until December 2024. In a nutshell, this is what our project will offer civil society organisations and activists from the region:
Call to Apply for the 2021 EaP Civil Society Fellowships is Open Now!
🔊‼️We are looking for civil society activists or civically minded women and men from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine to join our EaP Civil Society Fellowship Network.
This year brings some important changes. There is no age limitation for applicants (other than being at least 18) and we now have two types of Fellowship: Community Engagement Fellowships, and Civic Digital Fellowships.
For all those successful to become a Fellow, the EaP Civil Society Fellowship programme will:
• Provide you with tailored training and coaching.
• Support you with 5,000 EUR to implement your Fellowship activities.
• Give you access to networking opportunities and promote you as a civil society leader.
•Allow you to become part of our Fellowship alumni network.
And to be eligible for a Fellowship you should:
• Have a proven commitment to civil society, activism, and civil leadership, or a desire to develop technological solutions for community needs.
• Be 18 years old or above.
• Be a citizen of one of the Eastern Partnership countries: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine.
• Have good English language skills.

We are inviting civil society representatives, organisations and activists, from the six Eastern Partnership countries (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine) to join us for our formal online Launch Event for a quick overview of the many opportunities we will launch in the coming months. The event will be held on 14th of December from 10:00 Brussels time in Zoom in English with the interpretation in the Russian language. The Call for Applications for the EU’s 2021 #CivilSocietyFellowship is closed! We received 229 applications from the 6 Eastern Partnership counties. The team is in the process of assessing the received concept notes. If you applied, you will be contacted soon!

The EU-funded Eastern Partnership Civil Society Facility project is joining today the global effort to support the people of Ukraine in their fight for freedom. As other European initiatives, in order to respond in full solidarity with the citizens and civil society of Ukraine, we will re-structure our activities for 2022 around the theme of #StandWithUkraine: https://eapcivilsociety.eu/news/project-response-to-the-war-in-ukraine.html We will continue working with beneficiaries from Ukraine as well as other Eastern Partnership countries and will support civic tech solutions and fellowships, as well as ramp up our ad-hoc support to civil society. Soon we will share with you more details on the next steps and how you can work with us. Follow the news on our website and social media, and join our Telegram channel to stay up-to-date.
Dear friends, we launch two new Calls for Applications to support Ukrainian people in this difficult situation caused by war. See the details in the posts below 👇👇👇
1) If you are a civil society activist or a civically minded individual from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia or Moldova, join us and apply for the #SolidarityFellowships as part of the EU emergency support.
There are many avenues to take if you are ready to help:
- Assisting with relocation or evacuation of Ukrainian IDPs and refugees,
- Finding ways to support Ukrainian IDPs and refugees by covering their emergency needs or facilitating their access to community help information through civic tech solutions,
- Responding to the urgent needs of local communities,
- And many others!
We are sure you can come up with many more practical project ideas through our Solidarity Fellowships 2022 with an estimated budget of EUR5,000 per project.

This is the right time to show your solidarity with Ukraine.
2) Today we also launch the Call for Ukrainian CSOs and activists to take part in our 2022 EaP Civil Society Fellowship Programme and ad-hoc support.
If you are:
Responding to emergency needs of the local population or engaged in basic or protection services delivery to IDPs and refugees,
Advocating for, and facilitating the fulfilment of, the rights of the most vulnerable groups in Ukraine or refugees in its neighbouring countries,
Working on tools to support fund-raising efforts of Ukrainian CSOs or promoting solutions to mitigate misinformation campaigns,
Fighting against hate crimes and fake news about IDPs/refugees or advocating anti-war measures in the region,
Engaged in any other actions of relevance for Ukraine in current circumstances,
