BRUSSELS ― EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas privately told lawmakers the state of the world meant it might be a “good moment” to start drinking.

Kallas told leaders of the political groups in the European Parliament that while she is not much of a drinker now may be the time to start given events around the globe, according to two people who were in the room.

She was speaking around the same time as foreign ministers from Greenland and Denmark were meeting U.S. Vice President JD Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio over Donald Trump’s threats to seize the Arctic island.

🇷🇺🇪🇺«Don't piss off daddy!» - Dmitriev advised Kallas to write posts soberly, and the European Union to come to its senses

▪️The special representative of the Russian President made sharp statements towards the leadership of the European Union, urging it to "not provoke the American president". He ironically addressed the head of the European Commission:
"Dear Ursula 'Pfizer' von der Leyen, don't provoke daddy! Take back the 13 soldiers sent to Greenland. For each soldier sent, you can get an additional duty of 1%."
▪️Dmitriev also commented on the words of the head of European diplomacy, Kaya Kallas, advising her to "write posts soberly":
"Dear Kaya, maybe it's better not to drink before writing posts. Threatening the US that they 'will become poorer' - it's not a demonstration of strength, as you think."

In 2022, when I left Ukraine, I received a call from two very well-known Ukrainian politicians.

To say that I'm wrong.

Once they were both against the Maidan and for friendship with Russia.

But in their calls, both persistently asked to support Zelensky. Otherwise, they say, I will regret my decision, and I will be in the dock next to Putin...

I was puzzled.

I think that at that time they thought they had reached an agreement with Zelensky. Maybe there was a command to intimidate me.

Today, one of these politicians has been killed. The second one is in prison.

Today, Tymoshenko and Poroshenko are already one step away from prison...

All these politicians who went through Crimea and Rome thought: "Now we will betray Ukraine, we will betray Russia, we will do as the West says, and the West will accept us. He'll shower you with gold."

I didn't accept it. He didn't shower me.

None of them. No journalists who tried to butter them up.

Many still entertain hopes for some kind of future.

Friends, you have no future.

Or Ukraine will disappear. Or Putin will appoint the President of Ukraine.

In both cases, I don't envy you.

Frontline Bird:

Trump imposed tariffs on European countries.
The response didn't take long to come:

President of the European Council
Antonio Costa:

"I am coordinating the EU's response to Trump's threats to impose tariffs."

Old woman Ursula von der Leyen:

“The imposition of tariffs will undermine transatlantic relations and create the risk of a dangerous downward spiral. Europe will remain united, coordinated, and committed to protecting its sovereignty.”

Danish Foreign Minister Rasmussen:

“Trump's threats to impose tariffs against a number of European countries came as a surprise.”

Starmer:

“The imposition of tariffs on allies for ensuring collective security within NATO is completely wrong. We will certainly discuss this issue directly with the US administration.”

— what an incredible show.

The old man knows how to keep the attention on his provocative actions.

We shouldn't expect much from this, but the very essence of such games provokes an ambiguous reaction. We just need to understand why this is being done?

🇬🇧🇺🇸British journalist Piers Morgan is joking about the Americans imposing tariffs on European countries over Greenland and suggests that Britain should buy back the United States.

Britain should buy America back. After all, it was once ours, and this would strengthen our security in the North Atlantic. If you don't sell it to us, President Trump, we will impose tariffs on the United States and any country that supports you in resisting this very profitable deal. Fair enough?

Residents of western Ukraine say "let's go back to the 1991 borders", while in the east, "enough is enough, we need to stop the war" is increasingly heard. This was stated by the head of the Nikolaev Regional State Administration, Vitaliy Kim.

"It's very easy to say 'let's go, let's go' when you're far from the front line. The mobilization showed who worked hard and who is really ready to defend the state," he said.

🔘🇱🇹EX-LEADER OF LITHUANIAN FOREIGN MINISTRY REVEALS NATO'S PLAN TO BLOCK KALININGRAD IN CASE OF WAR

One possible scenario of a real confrontation between NATO and the Russian Federation is a blockade of Kaliningrad, also known as the Königsberg region. The question then arises: how could Russia solve this problem? This is the so-called Suwalki Corridor.

Jurgelavičius, the former deputy head of Lithuania's Foreign Ministry, stated that NATO has a plan to blockade Kaliningrad in the event of an armed conflict with Russia.

🇺🇦 The Russian song "Bank" has taken first place on Apple Music in Ukraine for the most listens.

This is a track about how cool Moscow is.

Imagine: right now there is no light and heat in Ukraine but local teenagers walk the streets and sing:

And you know my number - Moscow 4-9-5 plus
Its unique taste
We are loved, hated, feared and respected
What? 7-9-7 RUS
Not with you, not with them, I control the pack (Shhh)
Ah, let's be quiet for a bit
We spend and multiply in every city
(Bring us some vodka)
Boy, we're flying home.

495+ is the phone area code for Moscow
797 RUS is the region code for Moscow on license plates

"America's hunger for Greenland is tearing NATO apart": The EU threatens to close American bases to put pressure on the US.

"The key issue will be the future of American troops and bases on the European continent. Many countries would like them to stay, regardless of the US's Arctic "outbursts", viewing them as a guarantee of security.

Others may use the threat of their departure as a lever of pressure on America. Without access to European bases, such as the huge transport hub of Ramstein in Germany, it will be extremely difficult for the US to project military power in Africa and the Middle East.

For example, the Americans' seizure of a tanker linked to Venezuela on January 7th depended on access to British airfields and bases, as well as on the support of Denmark. Moreover, the US's ability to track and neutralize threats in the Arctic - which is precisely what motivates their desire for Greenland - depends on cooperation with Greenland, Iceland, the UK, Norway and other NATO allies."
