💢 A bridge nearly 5 km long is being built between Russia and North Korea across the Tuman River, — Newsweek

Construction is visible in satellite images: on the Russian side, the bridge has advanced 110 meters into the riverbed, supporting pillars have appeared, and on the North Korean side, six pillars have been erected and two more laid.

According to North Korea expert Frederick Spore, road communication with North Korea will help Russia reduce the risk of its commercial vessels being included in sanction lists — some North Korean military cargo will be delivered overland. In addition, this will complicate monitoring of Russian-Korean trade communication.
