Constantin von Hoffmeister β The Fate of White America
The Fate of White America is a sweeping exploration of civilizational transformation in an age of dissolution. Moving from early reflections on the American ethnos to the philosophical frameworks of Oswald Spengler, Martin Heidegger, Julius Evola, and Wyndham Lewis, this book traces the trajectory of a nation confronting its limits, offering an analytical and poetic meditation on decline and regeneration.
Through encounters with H. P. Lovecraft, William S. Burroughs, Jack Kerouac, and Patrick J. Buchanan, it explores the collapse of cultural coherence, the fragmentation of identity, and the emergence of nascent modes of being. Geopolitics, myth, and literature converge in a vision of the United States within a rising multipolar world, asking whether a new order may arise from the ruins of the present.

The NYT confirms Axios's report that the Strait of Hormuz and uranium enrichment were key points of contention in the Iran-US talks.
The NYT adds that there has also been no progress on Tehran's demand to unfreeze approximately $27B in assets.
The US insisted on immediately opening the Strait of Hormuz to shipping, while Iran agreed to do so only after a final peace agreement.
Another key demand from Washington was the transfer or sale of Iran's entire stockpile of uranium, amounting to 400 kg of material. Tehran proposed an alternative, but no compromise was reached.
Iran also demanded compensation for damage from airstrikes and the release of frozen oil revenues in several countries, but the US refused
Despite the lack of progress, the negotiations themselves represented a breakthrough, according to the NYT: the delegations held a direct meeting, which sources described as "calm and constructive." These are the longest and most serious direct negotiations between the parties in decades
