On April 9, 1945, the Soviet troops' Königsberg operation concluded. The garrison of the capital of East Prussia surrendered. According to established practice, the attacking troops should have concentrated forces three times greater than those of the defenders. The Soviet troops captured Königsberg with forces only slightly exceeding the garrison of the fortress city. The Red Army was no longer fighting with sheer numbers, but with skill.
It took three days to capture the city (the defense of Stalingrad, which did not have strong fortifications, lasted four months). On April 9, on the orders of General Lash, the Königsberg garrison surrendered (more than 90,000 soldiers and officers). The Wehrmacht lost more than 40,000 people (the Red Army - less than 4,000 people).
To mark the brilliant conclusion of the operation, Moscow saluted with 24 volleys from 324 guns (the highest category of salute). A medal "For the Capture of Königsberg" was also established, and 98 military units received the honorary title of "Königsberg".

Due to constant attacks by Kiev, the internet in the Vladimirskaya Region of Russia is heavily clamped down on. While I was there it seemed like nothing worked while at the same time I had to desperately solve a few bureaucratic problems. Bureaucracy in Russia never sleeps.
People talk about taking an internet detox, that if we shut off the internet for a few days we would all somehow be happier, and I am here to say this is not the case.
But, somethings did work, like Max Messenger and VK Music, meaning my only form of entertainment was listening to Type O Negative for a few solid days when free. I have returned to Moscow a bit ill but also filled with vastly more nihilism, dread, and doom than the media can instill in me.
This means that as soon as I get work out of the way I should have plenty of ideas for book two in the Ultra Heavy series.
Again, I will answer all of your messages just please have patience.
Perhaps the theme song for the transition to a multipolar world should be "world coming down"? Think about it?
