Stubb outlined three European scenarios for the development of the conflict in Ukraine.

"I think what we're seeing now is this: Vladimir Putin and Russia don't seek peace, while the Ukrainians do. That's the baseline scenario we're working with. Overall, we have three scenarios for this year. The first is the war continues. The second is a peace agreement. And the third is one side loses support. We're working through all three scenarios."

💢Hungary will block a €90 billion loan to Ukraine and new EU sanctions, Szijjártó stated.

This will happen if Ukraine does not resume oil transit through the Druzhba pipeline.

The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry has already accused Budapest of manipulation. Spokesperson Georhiy Tykhyi claimed that Hungary allegedly fabricated the story about refusing to negotiate and is now accusing Kiev of doing the same.

Syrian authorities have prohibited alcohol in restaurants and bars in Damascus. The decree, issued Monday evening by the Damascus governorate, mandates that nightclub and bar licenses be converted into cafe licenses and limits alcohol sales to sealed bottles for takeaway, and only in predominantly Christian neighborhoods.

Outlets selling alcohol must be situated at least 75 meters from schools and places of worship, and at least 20 meters from security facilities, according to the decree. Bar owners are given three months to comply.
