World Mental Health Day 2026 ๐
Bahir Dar University, College of Medicine and Health Sciences warmly invites all students to join us in celebrating World Mental Health Day on Saturday October 10, 2026.
The morning program will feature a panel discussion from 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM, with meaningful conversations, shared experiences, and an opportunity to listen, reflect, and connect in a relaxed setting while enjoying coffee.
We would especially love to see students join us for this morning session and be part of an open and supportive conversation around mental wellbeing.
There will also be games and activities in the afternoon.
Participants of the World Mental Health Day 2026 โ Mental Health Awareness Program will receive an e-certificate of participation.

PC-I Welcome Program
EMSA Bahir Dar conducted a welcome program for newly admitted PC-I students, providing an opportunity to learn about medical school, student life, and the experiences of senior students.
EMSA members shared practical experiences, guidance, and advice on navigating medical school and adapting to the new academic environment.
The session also introduced students to EMSA and encouraged them to join and become active members of the association, while fostering interaction and experience sharing between junior and senior students.
