1. The Ethiopian Construction Works Corporation (ECWC) hereby invites registered eligible bidders for TO SUPPLY HEATER
2. Interested Potential Bidders are required to present renewed relevant Trade License for the Ethiopian fiscal year, VAT Registration Certificate, Tax Clearance Certificate and Online Supplier list Registration Certificate together with their offer.
3. Bidding document should be prepared in English language.
4. Interested Potential Bidders obtain a complete set of bidding document from the office of Procurement Department against payment of none refundable fee of Birr 300.00 upon presentation of Trade License renewed for the fiscal year.
5. This invitation of bid is open to all interested potential bidders regardless of their nationality and the bid evaluation and award shall be determined in accordance with the provision indicated in bidding document.
6. The deadline for bid Submission shall be on April 3, 2023, at 08:00 (Local Time)
7. Bid must be accompanied with a Bid Security of an amount of Birr Birr 200,000.00 ETB (Two hundred thousand) in the form of certified cheque (CPO) or Bank guarantee. Bid Bond in the form of insurance bond or in any other form shall not be accepted.
8. Bids must be delivered or deposited in the Tender Box situated at the office of the Procurement Department on April 3, 2023, at 08:30 (Local Time). In Ethiopian Construction Works Corporation Procurement Department conference room, in the presence of bidders and/or their representatives who choose to attend.

Expression of Interest (EOI) For Prequalification of construction companies willing to work with ECWC on various construction works having a Licence of grade GC-6/BC-6 or higher. Under ref.no ECWCT-NCB-EOI-110/2015
1 Introduction
Ethiopian Construction Works Corporation (ECWC) is an autonomous public body established by virtue of the Council of Ministers Regulation No.366/2015 to deliver constructions overseas and domestic construction works in the area of highway, Air field, dam and irrigation, water supply, hydropower construction projects. Ethiopian construction works Corporation has established its head off Addis Ababa city, Yeka sub city Around Gurdsholla. ECWC has been undertaking various construction projects in all geographic regions of the country.
With regards to various Construction works it undertakes, the corporation seeks companies/firms with technical competency to work with ECWC on various construction projects across the country. Therefore, Ethiopian Construction works Corporation (ECWC) invites proficient, eligible, reputed companies/firms having the appropriate license to undertake construction works. Firms show be able to show an updated licence Equivalent to GC-6/BC-6 or higher. Firms need to be interested to work with the corporation on terms of fixed rates set by the corporation and need to submit sealed prequalification application for expression of interest.
2 Objective of the Assignment
The main objective of this EoI is to invite potential companies who can work with ECWC as a subcontractor on the corporation’s various construction works.
Description and specification of the Assignment
The companies/firms shall carry out constructioin works on pojects of the corporation. With undertaking the work, the companies/firms shall also be able to undertake knowledge transfer to the corporation’s staff.
Payment will be made on fixed rate basis. Sucessful companies shall be able to bring necessary equipment on site for the activities assigned which the corporation will pay on a fixed rate. ECWC will have the mandate to fix the unit rate.
Application Process
Interested companies /firms / must fill in the ECWC prequalification applications and submit relevant documents/information/ as to demonstrate that they are eligible and qualified to provide construction works. The result of the EoI prequalification evaluation will be used for identification of the successful company to carry out the above indicated assignment.
The applicants should consider the following application procedures and documents:
1) The applicant shall bear all costs related to preparation and submission of this Expression of interest.
2) All the pages of the EOI submitted must be numbered and signed by authorized person
3) Incorrect, incomplete and inadequate application may lead to rejection of the application
4) All document must be submitted in English language
5) Applicants may be requested to clarification on submitted document,
6) ECWC has the right to reject the application without communicating the companies’
7) ECWC shall not provide explanation to applicants related to shortlisting and selection process, in this respect, ECWC decision shall be final and binding for all applicants
8) ECWC may not be enforced to pay advance payment to sub-contractors
9) Both International and national companies are allowed to participate in this EOI as it is being run locally in Ethiopia.

3 Participants

Prospective national and international companies who are legally registered are invited to participate in the Expression of Interest (EOI). The applicants shall not be backlisted in any governmental organization. 4 Assignment Duration
The firms /companies shall commence the assignment within 15 days after contract is signed between the parties. The duration of the work will be dependant on the project’s peculiarities for which the subcontractor will be hired to.
5 Requirements for Submission of Expression of Interest (EOI)
The EOI shall contain following documents:
• A cover letter for submission of expression of interest
• If joint venture, legal documents for the joint venture formation shall be submitted by the companies,
• Registration by Procurement Agency (if applicable)
• Complete organization profile,
• Company capacity statement, Financial, Manpower and equipment
• Registration Certificate from the Government Authority
• License with latest renewal for the current fiscal year (The licence need to be either GC-6/BC-6 or higher)
• VAT Registration Certificate,
• Tax clearance certificate that works to date of the submission of the EoI
• Attorney for the certification of the Authority,
• Financial flow statement approved by official Auditing entity,
• A cover letter for EOI typed in organizations letter head with official seal. There should be a subject head, the reference no of EOI notice and clear indication of the name and address of the of the company.
6 Works contracting Process
Successful companies/firms will enter contractual agreement with the corporation and commence the assignment accordingly. The contract will cover start to end of the assignment including provision of the assigned construction work.
7 Minimum Eligibility Criteria
Firm’s service provider’s minimum eligibility criteria are as under:
1) Minimum 5 years of demonstarated experience in construction works.
2) The firm/company should have experienced and appropriate professionals in construction activities
3) The firm shall have the necessary equipments to undertake tasks
4) The firm should be profitable for last two Financial Years
5) The firm shall have local presence for which it is willing to express interest.
8 Evaluation Process, Criteria and Qualification Requirement,
8.1 Evaluation Process and Criteria
The evaluation criteria will mainly depend on relevant document submitted by the company/firm. ECWC will have the mandates to prepare the evaluation criteria and shortlist eligiable companies. Accordingly, successful and shortlisted company/firm will be communicated through official letter.
Qualification Requirements
Company’s /firm profile and required documents shall include: Description of the respondent, including number of employees and type of machineries (including capacity), highlight relevant experience, skills, and capabilities necessary to undertake the assignments, including, but not limited to demonstrated experiences. Furthermore, the company/firm has to demonstrate that it will have available technical personals, plant and equipment’s for implementation of the assignment compliant with national and international standards.
This Section contains all the criteria that the Procuring entity shall use to evaluate and determine qualify company. The company shall provide all the information as required by ECWC s indicated in the in the proceeding table.

የኢትዮጵያ ኮንስትራክሽን ሥራዎች ኮርፖሬሽን (ኢ.ኮ.ሥ.ኮ) ሴት ሠራተኞች በየዓመቱ እ.ኤ.አ አቆጣጠር ማርች 8 የሚከበረውን ዓለም አቀፍ የሴቶች ቀንን በማስመልከት በአገር አቀፍ ደረጃ ለ20ኛ ጊዜ በተካሄደው ሳፋሪኮም ቅድሚያ ለሴቶች ታላቁ ሩጫ ላይ ተሳተፉ፡፡
መጋቢት 17 ቀን 2015 ዓ.ም በአገር አቀፍ ደረጃ በተካሄደው እና ከ15 ሺህ በላይ እንስቶች በተሳተፉበት በዚህ የ5 ኪ.ሜ የመካከለኛ ርቀት የሩጫ ውድድር ወደ 200 የሚጠጉ የኢ.ኮ.ሥ.ኮ ሴት ሠራተኞች ተሳታፊ ሆነዋል፡፡
የሩጫ ውድድሩ ጠቀሜታው የጎላ መሆኑን የገለፁት በኢ.ኮ.ሥ.ኮ የሴቶችና ሕፃናት ጉዳይ መምሪያ ሥራ አስኪያጅ ወ/ሮ ፋጡማ ጀማል ውድድሩ በየዓመቱ መካሄዱ ሴቶች አንድነታቸውን እንዲያጠናክሩ፣ በተለያዩ ማህበራዊ፣ ኢኮኖሚያዊና ፖለቲካዊ ጉዳዮች ላይ ያላቸውን ተሳትፎ እና ተጠቃሚነት እንዲያረጋግጡ፣ ራሳቸውን እንዲያዝናኑ እና በሥነ-ልቦና እንዲያንፁ ያስችላቸዋል ብለዋል፡፡
በተጨማሪም እንደኮርፖሬሽን ተቋማቸውን እንዲወዱና እንዲያስተዋውቁ እንዲሁም የሥራ ፍቅር እና ተነሳሽነት እንዲኖራቸው ያስችላል ያሉት ወ/ሮ ፋጡማ ኮርፖሬሽኑ ይህንን ተረድቶ የሥራው አንዱ አካል እንዲያደርግ፣ ለሥርዓተ-ፆታ ትኩረትና እውቅና በመስጠት የመንግስትን ፖሊሲ እንዲያስፈፅም መምሪያው ክትትል ያደርጋል ብለዋል፡፡
መነሻውን ከቦሌ አትላስ ያደረገው የሩጫ ውድድሩ በቦሌ መድኃኔዓለም ቤተክርስቲያን፣ በቦሌ አውሮፕላን ማረፊያ ከዚያም በፍሬንድሺፕ አድርጎ መጨረሻውን ቦሌ አትላስ ላይ አድርጓል፡፡
የ2015 ዓ.ም ሳፋሪኮም ቅድሚያ ለሴቶች የ5 ኪ.ሜ የሩጫ ውድድር “ቦታዬ፤ መብቴ፤ ድምፄ” በሚል መሪ ቃል በአገር አቀፍ ደረጃ ተካሂዷል፡፡
በውድድሩ የአዲስ አበባ ከተማ ከንቲባ አዳነች አቤቤ፣ የሴቶችና ማህበራዊ ጉዳይ ሚኒስትር ዶክተር ኤርጎጌ ተስፋዬ፣ ሻለቃ አትሌት ኃይሌ ገብረ-ሥላሴ፣ አትሌት መሰረት ደፋር፣ አትሌት ለተሰንበት ግደይን ጨምሮ ሌሎችም አትሌቶችና እንግዶች ተገኝተዋል።

የዚምባቡዌ የልዑካን ቡድን የኢትዮጵያ ኮንስትራክሽን ሥራዎች ኮርፖሬሽን የግብዓት ማምረቻ ማዕከልን፣ በተገጣጣሚ ህንፃ ግንባታው እየተከናወነ የሚገኘውን የ5 ሺህ ቤቶች ግንባታንና በቅርቡ የተጠናቀቀውን የኮንስትራክሽን ሙያተኞች ማሰልጠኛ ኢንስቲትዩትን መጋቢት 23 ቀን 2015 ዓ.ም ጎበኙ፡፡

በጉብኝቱ ላይ የተገኙት የኮርፖሬሽኑ ዋና ሥራ አስፈፃሚ ኢንጂነር ዮናስ አያሌው እንዳሉት ኮርፖሬሽኑ በምስራቅና መካከለኛው አፍሪካ የገበያ አድማሱን ለማስፋት በርካታ ሥራዎችን በሚሰራበትና የኢንተርናሽናሌይዜሽን ሪፎርምን ተግባራዊ እያደረግንበት ባለበት ወቅት የተደረገ የልምድ ልውውጥ ስለሆነ ጠቃሚ ልምዶችን የልዑክ ቡድኑ ከኮርፖሬሽኑ እንደሚያገኝ እምነታቸው መሆኑን ተናግረዋል፡፡ ኮርፖሬሽኑ መንገዶችን፣ ድልድዮችን፣ አውሮፕላን ማረፊያዎች፣ ግድቦች፣ የመስኖ እና የውሀ አቅርቦት ሥራዎችን፣ የህንፃና ቤቶች ግንባታዎችን በማከናወን ትልቅ ልምድ ያለው ኩባንያ ስለሆነ የነበሩ ልምዶቻችንን እያጎለበትን በጋራ አፍሪካን እንደምንገነባ እምነቴ ነው ብለዋል፡፡

ከጉብኝቱ በተጨማሪ የኮርፖሬሽኑን አጠቃላይ የሥራ እንቅስቀሴና ተልዕኮውን የሚያሳይ የ10 ደቂቃ ፕሮሞሽናል ዶክሜንታሪና የኮርፖሬሽኑን የፕሮጀክት ማኔጅመንት ስርዓት ልዑካን በድኑ እንዲመለከቱ ተደርጓል፡፡

በዚምባቡዌ ፕሬዝዳንት እና ካቢኔ ጽህፈት ቤት የፖሊሲ ትንተና፣ ማስተባበር እና የልማት እቅድ ምክትል ዋና ጸሃፊ ሚስተር ሚላርድ ማኑንጎ በበኩላቸው ኮርፖሬሽኑ የተገጣጣሚ ህንፃ ቴክኖሎጂን በመጠቀም በአጭር ጊዜ ግንባታዎችን ለማጠናቀቅ እየሰራቸው ባሉ ሥራዎች፣ የፕሮጀክት ማኔጅመንት ስርዓቱን ቀልጣፋና የመረጃ ልወውጡን ፈጣን ለማድረግና የኮንስትራክሽን ግብዓቶችን በሀገር ውስጥ አምርቶ ለመጠቀም እያደረገው ያለውን ጥረት አድንቀው በቀጣይ በጋራ ከኮርፖሬሽኑ ጋር እንሰራለን ብለዋል፡፡

የኢትዮጵያ ኮንስትራክሽን ሥራዎች ኮርፖሬሽን (ኢ.ኮ.ሥ.ኮ) ሠራተኞች በየዓመቱ እ.ኤ.አ አቆጣጠር ማርች 8 የሚከበረውን ዓለም አቀፍ የሴቶች ቀንን በተለያዩ ዝግጅቶች በታላቅ ድምቀት አከበሩ፡፡ዓለም አቀፍ የሴቶች ቀን በሀገር አቀፍ ደረጃ ለ47ኛ ጊዜ “እኔ የእህቴ ጠባቂ ነኝ”፣ በዓለም አቀፍ ደረጃ ደግሞ ለ112ኛ ጊዜ "ፈጠራ እና ቴክኖሎጂ ለሥርዓተ-ፆታ እኩልነት" በሚሉ መሪ ቃሎች ተከብሯል፡፡እንደ ኮርፖሬሽንም የኮርፖሬሽኑን የሴቶችና ሕፃናት ጉዳይ መምሪያ ሥራ አስኪያጅ ወ/ሮ ፋጡማ ጀማልን ጨምሮ የኮርፖሬሽኑ ሴት ሠራተኞች፣ የሥራ መሪዎች እና የሠራተኛ ማህበር በተገኙበት መጋቢት 21 ቀን 2015 ዓ.ም በተለያዩ ዝግጅቶች በኮርፖሬሽኑ ዋና መ/ቤት የመሰብሰቢያ አዳራሽ  በታላቅ ድምቀት ተከብሯል፡፡በዕለቱ ዕለቱን የተመለከቱ አስተማሪ እና አዝናኝ የጥበብ ሥራዎች፣ ፅሁፎች፣ ድራማ፣ ጥያቄና መልሶች ቀርበዋል፡፡በዓለም አቀፍ የሴቶች ቀን (ማርች 8) ታሪካዊ ዳራ፣ በአገር አቀፍ እና በዓለም አቀፍ ደረጃ የበዓሉ አከባበር ምን እንደሚመስል እና የሚከበርበት ምክንያት፣ የሴቶችን ጥቃት ለማስቆም ምን መደረግ እንዳለበት፣ በኢትዮጵያ በተለያዩ ማህበራዊ፣ ኢኮኖሚያዊ እና ፖለቲካዊ ጉዳዮች ላይ የሴቶች እንቅስቃሴ፣ ተሳትፎና አበርክቶ ምን እንደሚመስል ፅሁፍ ተዘጋጅቶ በፅሁፉ ላይ ገለፃ ተደርጓል፡፡ፅሁፉን ያቀረቡት በኮርፖሬሽኑ የሴቶችና ሕፃናት ጉዳይ መምሪያ ሊድ የሥርዓተ-ፆታ ባለሙያ ወ/ሪት ቤዛዬ ታደሰ በኢትዮጵያ ሴቶች ሀገርን በመምራት፣ የሀገር ህልውናን በማስጠበቅ፣ ለሰላም ዘብ በመቆም እና በመሳሰሉት ጉዳዮች ላይ ከፍተኛ አስተዋፅኦ እያበረከቱ መሆኑን የገለፁ ሲሆን ከቅርብ ጊዜ ወዲህ በሀገሪቱ በማህበራዊ፣ በኢኮኖሚያዊ እና በፖለቲካዊ ጉዳዮች በርካታ ተፅዕኖ ፈጣሪ ሴቶች የተፈጠሩና እየተፈጠሩ ያሉ መሆናቸውን አውስተዋል፡፡በአገር አቀፍ ደረጃ የሴቶችን ማህበራዊ፣ ኢኮኖሚያዊ እና ፖለቲካዊ ተጠቃሚነት ከፍ ለማድረግ እንዲሁም እየደረሱባቸው ያሉ ችግሮችን/ጥቃቶችን ለማስቀረት ሥራዎች እየተሠሩ መሆኑን የገለፁት ባለሙያዋ፣ እንደ ኮርፖሬሽንም በኮርፖሬሽኑ ሥር ጉዳዩን የሚከታተልና የሚያስፈፅም ራሱን የቻለ መምሪያ ተዋቅሮ ሥራዎች እየተሠሩ መሆኑን ተናግረዋል፡፡ እንደ ማሳያም ኮርፖሬሽኑ ለሴት ሠራተኞች ነፃ የትምህርት ዕድል፣ የግንዛቤ ማስጨበጫዎችን፣ የሙያ ሥልጠናዎችን እና የሥነ-ልቦና ማማከር አገልግሎቶችን እያመቻቸ እና እየሰጠ መሆኑን፣ የሕፃናት ማቆያ አገልግሎት ለመስጠት በዝግጅት ላይ መሆኑን እና የሥርዓተ-ፆታ ማካተቻ ጋይድላይን  እያዘጋጀ መሆኑን ገልፀዋል፡፡ከቀረበው ፅሁፍ ጋር ተያይዞ የሕፃናት ማቆያው ምን ደረጃ ላይ እንዳለ እና መቼ ሥራ እንደሚጀምር፣ ክብረ-በዓሉን ሁሉም የኮርፖሬሽኑ ሴት ሠራተኞች ማክበር እንዳለባቸውና ሁሉንም ሴቶች ማሳተፍ እንዳለበት ጥያቄዎችና አስተያየቶች ተነስተው ለጥያቄዎች ወ/ሮ ፋጡማ ጀማል መልስ ሰጥተዋል፡፡ የህፃናት ማቆያውን በተመለከተ አገልግሎቱ ያልጀመረው በግዥ ሂደት መጓተት የህፃናቱ መጫወቻዎች ባለመሟላታቸው ምክንያት መሆኑን የገለፁት ወ/ሮ ፋጡማ ጀማል አገልግሎቱ መጫዎቻወቹ እንደተሟሉ የሚጀምር መሆኑን ተናግረዋል፡፡በዕለቱ የኮርፖሬሽኑ የሴቶችና ሕፃናት ጉዳይ መምሪያ ሥርዓተ-ፆታን በማስረፅ ሂደት ቀና ትብብር ላደረጉ፣ ለሴት ሠራተኞች እኩል ተሳታፊነትና ተጠቃሚነት የላቀ አስተዋፅኦ ላበረከቱ ለኮርፖሬሽኑ አንዳንድ መምሪያዎች እና ለኮርፖሬሽኑ መሠረታዊ የሠራተኛ ማህበር የምስጋና የምስክር ወረቀት ሰጥቷል፡፡በፕሮግራሙ ማጠናቀቂያ የኮርፖሬሽኑ ሴት ሠራተኞች በማህበራዊ  እና  በኢኮኖሚያዊ  ችግሮቻቸው/ጉዳዮቻቸው ላይ በየወሩ በመገናኘት የሚወያዩበት እና መፍትሔዎችን የሚያመነጩበት የሴቶች ፎረም የተቋቋመ ሲሆን ለዚህም ዓላማ ፎረሙን የሚመሩ አምስት ሴት አባላት ተመርጠዋል፡፡
