የኢዩ ካፌ ፕሮጀክት የስድስት ወራት አፈጻጸሙን ገመገመ፤ የቀጣይ ሶስት ወራት የትኩረት አቅጣጫዎችንም አስቀመጠ

በኢትዮጵያ ቡናና ሻይ ባለስልጣን ስር የሚንቀሳቀሰው የኢዩ ካፌ (EU-CAFÉ) ፕሮጀክት ላለፉት ሁለት ቀናት ሲያካሂድ የቆየውን የዕቅድ አፈጻጸም ግምገማ አጠናቀቀ። በመድረኩ ላይ የፕሮጀክቱ ስድስት ወራት ጉዞ የተገመገመ ሲሆን፣ በቀጣይ ሶስት ወራት መጠናቀቅ ባለባቸው ተግባራት ላይም የጋራ መግባባት ተፈጥሯል።
በዚህ የግምገማ መድረክ ላይ የባለስልጣኑ ከፍተኛ የስራ ሃላፊዎች፣ የክልል የቡናና ሻይ ተወካዮች፣ የምርምር ተቋማት ተወካዮች፣ የፕሮጀክቱ Focal Persons እና የፌዴራል ባለሙያዎች ተገኝተዋል።
የባለስልጣን መሥሪያ ቤቱ የዋና ዳይሬክተር ጽሕፈት ቤት ኃላፊ አቶ ሰፊሳ አባቡ በመድረኩ ላይ እንደገለጹት፣ ፕሮጀክቱ ተግባራዊ በሚደረግባቸው ወረዳዎች የቡናውን ዘርፍ ለማሳደግና የአርሶ አደሩን ተጠቃሚነት ለማረጋገጥ ተስፋ ሰጪ ስራዎች ተከናውነዋል።
በባለፉት ስድስት ወራት የታቀዱ ተግባራት በተቀመጠላቸው የጊዜ ገደብና በጥሩ ደረጃ ላይ እንደሚገኙ እና በዘርፉ የሚታዩ ማነቆዎችን በመቅረፍ ረገድ ፕሮጀክቱ ከፍተኛ ሚና እየተጫወተ መሆኑም ተመላክቷል።
ምንም እንኳን አፈጻጸሙ መልካም ቢሆንም፣ በቀሪዎቹ ሶስት ወራት ስራዎች በዝግታ እንዳይሄዱ አቶ ሰፊሳ የሚከተሉትን ማሳሰቢያዎች ሰጥተዋል፡-
1. ቅንጅታዊ አሰራር፦ ቀሪ ስራዎች ይበልጥ በተናበበ እና በተቀናጀ ሁኔታ መከናወን እንዳለባቸው።
2. የመረጃ አያያዝ፦ እስከ ዛሬ የተከናወኑ ተግባራት በበቂ መረጃ ተጠናቅረው ለቀጣይ ስራዎች እንደ ግብዓት እንዲያገለግሉ ማድረግ።
3. ውጤት ተኮር ስራ፦ በቀሩት ጥቂት ወራት ውስጥ በታቀዱት ግቦች ላይ በትኩረት በመስራት ፕሮጀክቱን በስኬት ማጠናቀቅ።
ማጠቃለያ፦ የኢዩ ካፌ ፕሮጀክት በኢትዮጵያ የቡና ጥራትና ምርታማነት ላይ ትርጉም ያለው ለውጥ ለማምጣት እየሰራ ያለ ፕሮጀክት ሲሆን፣ የአሁኑ ግምገማም የፕሮጀክቱን ውጤታማነት ለማረጋገጥ ትልቅ ፋይዳ እንዳለው ተገልጿል።

ADDIS ABABA – In a significant move for Ethiopia’s value-added coffee sector, the Chinese industrial giant Huichuan Freeze-Dried Health Food has officially expressed its intent to launch a large-scale investment in the Ethiopian coffee industry.
The announcement came during a high-level consultative meeting held today at the headquarters of the Ethiopian Coffee and Tea Authority (ECTA). The company’s Chairman and Manager, Mr. Wang Shuiyong, led a senior delegation to discuss strategic cooperation with the Director General of ECTA, Dr. Adugna Debela.
During the discussions, Mr. Wang highlighted his company’s success in utilizing advanced technology to produce premium freeze-dried coffee powder. He noted that their products, sourced from Ethiopian beans, have already gained international acclaim and significant market share globally. Driven by this success, the company is now finalizing preparations to establish a massive processing footprint within Ethiopia to expand its global supply chain.
Dr. Adugna Debela appreciated the decision, characterizing it as a timely and strategic move. He emphasized that Ethiopia has created a highly favorable environment for foreign direct investment, citing the development of specialized industrial parks tailored for high-tech processing.
"We are seeing a transformative trend where numerous Chinese investors are registering to enter our coffee sector," Dr. Adugna stated. He further assured the Huichuan delegation that the Ethiopian government remains fully committed to providing all necessary administrative and technical support to ensure the project’s success, both for export markets and domestic supply.
