Beryl was a direct hit on Houston, but no models forecast that; MSM is desperately trying to convince us otherwise. Houston, the nation’s fourth largest city, still has 2+ million customers without power in 105-degree heat index. Texas has 254 counties, & 121 of them have declared emergency.
Some have noted Biblical connections. Beryl’s path is very similar to the eclipse path. A ‘beryl’ in the Bible is a foundational gemstone, & Houston is a foundational city.
But Beryl was natural not geoengineering. You decide.

Ben Livingston is often referred to as the father of weather warfare. He was part of a Vietnam marine fighter squadron that cloud seeded the area to create maximum rain. Livingston later briefed LBJ on the effectiveness of weather control in Vietnam. He openly stated that one of the government's top national priorities (40 years ago, keep in mind) was hurricane control; the technology was fully operational in the 1960s.
Livingston says the government knows how to lessen the impact of hurricanes and could have easily minimized the devastation caused by Hurricane Katrina, but that allowed the strong hurricane to fully impact the Gulf states for political gain. Livingston was always “disgusted” by the government's failure to lessen the impact of Katrina.
And it goes without saying that if they can lessen intensity, they can also increase intensity.
