U.S. District Judge William B. Shubb concluded that California's definition of misinformation is unconstitutionally vague, failing to give doctors fair notice of which conduct the statute covers, which is a basic requirement of due process. That vagueness is especially problematic in this context, Shubb said, because it is apt to have a chilling effect on speech protected by the First Amendment.
A.B. 2098, which took effect on January 1, redefines the "unprofessional conduct" policed by state regulators to include medical advice that promotes "misinformation" about COVID-19, such as "false or misleading information regarding the nature and risks of the virus," "its prevention and treatment," and "the development, safety, and effectiveness of COVID-19 vaccines." The law defines "misinformation" as "false information that is contradicted by contemporary scientific consensus contrary to the standard of care."

This week, we had some beautiful sunshine in our backyard, and the kids were extra helpful with laundry, tidying, chores around the house. 💕👼🧺🏡🌿🎶
I said "yay A+! Thanks for helping me fold laundry!" This inspired our boy to ask about "grades" and what is this thing called Report Cards they have at schools? "Do they have E, F or G, H?", he wondered... 🤔 We had an anthropologically fascinating conversation. It inspired him to create his first ever Report Card.
First he came up with the "subjects" that he felt were important to him. Then he graded himself based on his own standards.

One of my top 10 fav films of all time. I like to re-watch it about once a year.
Made in 1996 - became an instant cult classic. I discovered it circulating on the internet about 20 yrs ago in my early days of awakening, seeing the backwards-upside-down nature of our world. Watching this film was pure nourishment. Balm for my soul! A sigh of relief to know that i was not alone in seeing the absurd, sick, and distorted nature of our society.
A profound and beautiful film. Enjoy! ✨
