Prohibition wasn’t about stopping people from drinking alcohol, it was about stopping farmers from creating their own fuel for their machines.
Making hemp illegal wasn't to keep people safe, it was to maintain the petroleum Monopoly.

ARIZONA WATER PIPE SPARKS DEBATE OVER DESERT DISCHARGE VS. AQUIFER RECHARGE SYSTEM
A large water pipeline in northwest Peoria, Arizona, drew attention after footage showed significant water being released into the desert, raising concerns amid ongoing drought conditions and Tier 1–2 water shortage warnings across the state; while some observers questioned why water would be discharged during a severe shortage, local explanations say the flow is part of routine infrastructure operations such as aquifer recharge, pipeline maintenance blow-offs, and stormwater management designed to store water underground for future use and sustain long-term supply in fast-growing desert regions.

THERMOS RECALLS 8M UNITS AFTER STOPPER INJURIES CAUSE BLINDNESS RISK
Thermos is recalling over 8 million insulated jars and bottles after a faulty stopper can eject forcefully when opened, causing eye injuries and in some cases permanent vision loss; there are 27 reported incidents, including 3 cases of permanent damage. The recall covers Stainless King jars (16 oz and 24 oz, pre–July 2023) and all 40 oz Sportsman bottles, raising serious safety concerns over pressure-related defects in widely sold drinkware.

PORTLAND COLLAPSE: RETAIL GIANTS FLEE AS CRIME SKYROCKETS UNDER DEMOCRAT RULE
From 2022–2026, Portland has watched a mass corporate exodus as crime and disorder spiral: Nike shut its 40-year Community Factory Store after hundreds of theft reports, Walmart closed both locations cutting 580 jobs, Target exited three stores over organized retail crime, and REI left after record break-ins and soaring security costs. U.S. Bank abandoned its tower as the building’s value crashed from $372M to $45M, Wells Fargo announced plans to leave, multiple Starbucks closed, and major malls like Pioneer Place and Lloyd Center emptied out or face demolition. Property values have plunged as businesses and investment flee a city hollowed out by failed Democrat policies.
