Los Angeles has a homeless population of 72,308. It just announced 614 layoffs because its finances are a mess. It had violent riots and catastrophic fires after de-funding the police and fire department.

Yet the Mayor's priority is giving cash payments to illegal aliens.
⚠️ From the UN 🇺🇳 Chronicle:

“We sometimes talk about hunger in the world as if it were a scourge that all of us want to see abolished. But that naïve view prevents us from coming to grips with what causes and sustains hunger. Hunger has great positive value to many people. Indeed, it is fundamental to the working of the world's economy.” ‼️

“Hungry people are the most productive people, especially where there is a need for manual labour.” ⁉️

“Much of the hunger literature talks about how it is important to ensure that people are well fed so that they can be more productive. That is nonsense.” 😳....

“No one works harder than hungry people. Yes, people who are well nourished have greater capacity for productive physical activity, but well-nourished people are far less willing to do that work.” [...]

UK: Top farmland being "lost" to large-scale solar panels

England is losing some of its best farmland to solar panels, with nearly two-thirds of mega solar farms now built on productive agricultural land, a new report reveals.

The analysis shows that 59% of the country’s 38 operational solar developments are situated on farmland, with 31% of the total land covered by panels classed as the ‘best and most versatile’ (BMV) for agriculture—Grades 1 to 3a.

[IAF: This is the deliberate destruction of the UK's food supply, forcing the issue of lab-grown meat and mRNA-infused crops, in the name of achieving Zero Carbon]

@ POTUS' tariff on Mexican tomatoes is already having a positive impact on struggling American tomato farmers:

"It's only been two days now, and we actually have a lot more calls of people having interest in doing business — and the price hasn't even changed."

Alaska Airlines requested a ground stop for its entire fleet of planes that operate under its brand name, the Federal Aviation Administration said in an advisory on Sunday night.

The reason for the advisory, issued just after 9 p.m. on Sunday, was not immediately clear.

The grounding affects more than 200 planes under the Alaska Airlines brand but does not affect aircraft operated by the airline’s subsidiaries.

As of April 24, Alaska Airlines said it operated 238 planes, all Boeings, under its brand.

Neither Alaska Airlines nor the F.A.A responded immediately to requests for comment.
