The company said the battery can charge from 10% to 70% in five minutes and reach about 97% charge in nine minutes. In extreme cold conditions, charging slows only slightly. BYD said charging from 20% to 97% takes about 12 minutes at temperatures as low as −30°C, roughly three minutes longer than under room-temperature conditions
