Statista e, prima ancora, Uomo delle Istituzioni: una figura la cui eccezionale statura morale, culturale e politica continua a parlare alla coscienza democratica del Paese.
Il #9maggio è anche memoria del tragico destino di Peppino Impastato, vilmente ucciso per il coraggio con cui seppe sfidare il potere mafioso e difendere la legalità e la libertà, con la forza della parola.
Il nostro pensiero va inoltre ai tanti, troppi servitori dello Stato e cittadini comuni il cui nome è poco conosciuto, ma il cui sacrificio appartiene pienamente alla storia della Repubblica.
La memoria di chi ha pagato con la vita la fedeltà alle Istituzioni, alla verità e al bene comune non appartiene solo al passato: è responsabilità viva, fondamento della nostra democrazia e dell'impegno quotidiano a difesa dei nostri valori". Così il Ministro @GuidoCrosetto in occasione del #GiornodellaMemoria dedicato alle #vittime del terrorismo, interno e internazionale, e delle stragi di tale matrice.
