GOC ने जीवन विज्ञान, बायोटेक्नोलॉजी और उच्च ऊंचाई व जंगल क्षेत्रों में उपयोग के लिए तैयार इंजीनियरिंग समाधान से जुड़े चल रहे शोध की समीक्षा की और DRL के नवाचार, आत्मनिर्भरता तथा सशस्त्र बलों की ऑपरेशनल तैयारियों को मजबूत करने में योगदान की सराहना की। उन्होंने चल रहे प्रोजेक्ट्स के लिए संयुक्त टीम भी बनाई, ताकि दूरस्थ ऑपरेशनल क्षेत्रों में समयबद्ध तरीके से कार्य पूरा किया जा सके।
