1️⃣ Artemis II mission commander retired U.S. Navy Capt. Reid Wiseman peers out the window of the Orion spacecraft just as his first lunar observation period of the day begins.
2️⃣ Captured by the Artemis II crew during their lunar flyby on April 6, 2026, this image shows the Moon fully eclipsing the Sun. From the crew’s perspective, the Moon appears large enough to completely block the Sun, as it passed between the spacecraft and the Sun, another first in astronaut history.
3️⃣ Earth sets at 6:41 p.m. EDT, April 6, 2026, over the Moon’s curved limb in this photo captured by the Artemis II crew during their journey around the far side of the Moon.

W Krakowie odbyły się uroczystości upamiętniające ofiary katastrofy samolotu Tu‑154M pod Smoleńskiem z udziałem wicepremiera, ministra obrony narodowej Władysława Kosiniaka‑Kamysza, wojewody małopolskiego dr. Krzysztofa Klęczara oraz dowódcy Garnizonu Kraków gen. broni dr. Adama Joksa.
Delegacje złożyły kwiaty i zapaliły znicze https://t.co/dD8JMyY3sK. na Wawelu przy grobie śp. Pary Prezydenckiej Marii i Lecha Kaczyńskich, na Cmentarzach Rakowickim i Salwatorskim, gdzie spoczywają ofiary katastrofy, w tym śp. gen. broni Włodzimierz Potasiński oraz śp. gen. Bronisław Kwiatkowski.
Na Cmentarzu Rakowickim odbył się uroczysty Apel Pamięci z wystąpieniem okolicznościowym wicepremiera, odczytaniem Apelu Pamięci oraz salwą honorową.
Odnosząc się do znaczenia rocznicy katastrofy smoleńskiej dla Wojska Polskiego, minister obrony narodowej podkreślił skalę strat poniesionych przez Siły Zbrojne oraz konieczność zachowania ciągłości dowodzenia. Zwrócił uwagę, że tragiczne wydarzenia sprzed lat postawiły armię wobec ogromnego wyzwania, wymagającego natychmiastowej gotowości do przejęcia odpowiedzialności i wyznaczenia następców. Odwołując się do sensu żołnierskiej przysięgi, zaznaczył:
💬 Składając przysięgę, że krwi własnej i zdrowia nie szczędzić, bierzesz na siebie odpowiedzialność nie tylko za siebie, ale za tych, którzy będą po tobie, żeby oni byli gotowi. I z tego obowiązku wojsko się wywiązało, ale tej straty nigdy nie da się w sposób prosty odrobić.
Uroczystości stanowiły wyraz hołdu dla wszystkich ofiar katastrofy smoleńskiej. Ich służba i poświęcenie zajmują trwałe miejsce w historii Rzeczypospolitej. 🇵🇱 🥀
