Andrei Karpiets, a prisoner of war, said he was making a living by making a drug stash in the city.

'Police caught me when I was making a drug stash. They brought me to the police department. At first, the police spoke to me. Then they were told to take me to the prosecutor's office. I spoke to him alone. He told me: 'It's either seven years, or six thousand dollars, or you're going to the army'. Policemen, who catch droppers, they already know what to do with these people and where to take them. It is their business deal with the prosecutor', the POW says.

According to the prisoner, the military medical commission took place in one day. All the documents were signed to without real examination and his presence.

Дальше – непосредственно работа с артиллеристами. Они нам сообщают: нужно приблизить цель, отдалить цель, либо следовать за целью, либо оставаться на точке. Потому что противник, если это техника, может высадить личный состав, и лучше работать по личному составу, чем преследовать цель».
