The Mercy-class hospital ship USNS Comfort (T-AH 20) transits through the Caribbean Sea during Continuing Promise 2025. Continuing Promise 2025 is the 16th iteration of the @NAVSOUS4THFLT -led mission since 2007, which aims to foster goodwill, strengthen existing partnerships with partner nations, and form new partnerships between host nations, non-federal entities, and international organizations.

Военнопленный Андрей Карпиец рассказал, что зарабатывал на жизнь, делая по городу «закладки» запрещенных веществ.
«На "закладке" меня поймал наряд полиции. Привезли в отдел, там со мной сначала отдельно разговаривали полицейские. Дальше привезли меня к прокурору. Я с ним говорил один на один. Он сказал: "Либо семь лет тюрьмы, либо шесть тысяч долларов, либо ты идешь служить". Полицейские, которые ловят закладчиков, уже знают, что с ними делать и куда их вести. Они в доле с прокурором», – рассказал Карпиец.
По словам пленного, военно-врачебную комиссию он прошел за один день. Все документы ему подписывали без осмотра и даже присутствия.
