Senator Mitch McConnell has just voted NO on Pete Hegseth as Secretary of Defense.

The U.S. Senate has just confirmed Pete Hegseth as Secretary of Defense by a Tied Vote of 50-50, to be broken by a YES from Vice-President JD Vance.

The last time that the Vice-President was forced to make a Tiebreaker Vote for a Cabinet Secretary, was in 2017 when Mike Pence voted YES on Betsy DeVos as Secretary of Education.

U.S. President Donald J. Trump spoke last week with the Prime Minister of Denmark, Mette Frederiksen in a Call which European Officials have called “Horrendous” and potentially “Very Dangerous” regarding the Island of Greenland and U.S-Danish Relation. Officials believed prior to the Call that President Trump’s Comments recently about seeking Control over Greenland was a Negotiating Tactic to gain more Influence over NATO, but afterwards it was clear that wasn’t the case, “The intent was very clear. They want it,” said an Official briefed on Call. The Danish Government is said to have been “Utterly Freaked Out” by the Call, with them now in “Crisis Mode” fearing Tariffs or even more Aggressive Action by the United States in order to secure Greenland and its Population of roughly 57,000.

The White House tonight informed the Independent Inspectors General of at least 12 Governmental Departments and/or Agencies, that they were being fired effective immediately; with each of them receiving an Email from the White House Personnel Director, notifying them of their Termination. Agencies involved, include the Departments of Defense, Energy, Housing and Urban Development, Interior, State, Transportation, and Veterans Affairs; with most of the Inspectors Generals dismissed, being appointed by President Trump during his First Term. The Wave of Dismissals appear to violate Federal Law, which requires the President to notify Congress 30 Days prior to the firing an Inspectors General, who are tasked with identifying Fraud, Waste, and Abuse within their respective Agencies.

The Israel Defense Force states that they have completed preparation to receive the Four Hostages being released today by Hamas; with the Manpower Directorate and the Medical Corps having established Initial Reception Points where they will receive Medical Care and Personal Support, before being transferred to Hospitals and their Families.

Hamas Terrorists have begun to mass near where the Hostage Exchange is set to take place in Gaza City.

Hamas’ Al-Qassam Brigades have erected a Stage within Palestine Square in Gaza City, where the Four Hostages are expected to be handed over soon to the Red Cross.

Terrorists with the Palestinian Islamic Jihad will also be present at the Hostage Exchange.

The Red Cross Convoy is currently heading to the Site in Gaza City where the Hostage Exchange will occur.

The Convoy of Red Cross Vehicles have arrived at Palestine Square in Gaza City, where the Hostage Exchange will soon take place.

Several Unmarked Vehicles have arrived in Palestine Square, opposite the Red Cross Convoy, with these Vehicles likely containing the Four Hostages set to be released.

The 4 Female Israeli Soldiers being released, Karina Ariev, Daniella Gilboa, Naama Levy and Liri Albag, are forced to stand on Stage in Palestinian Square, where Red Cross Officials sign their Release Certificates.

The Four Women have been handed over to the Red Cross, with the Israel Defense Force confirming the Exchange.

The Family of Liri Albag, after it was reported she and the other Hostages had been handed over to the Red Cross.

The Red Cross Convoy is now heading to the exchange with the Israel Defense Force, which will occur in roughly 20 Minutes.

The Israel Defense Force has now received the Four Women, as they begin their Journey out of the Gaza Strip to the Initial Receiving Point. They are said to be in “Good Condition” according to the Red Cross.

The Four Women, Karina Ariev, Daniella Gilboa, Naama Levy and Liri Albag, have exited the Gaza Strip and entered Israel for the first time in 477 Days.

Yet another hiccup in the ongoing ceasefire after Hamas has yet to release Arbel Yahud, a civilian who was captured by militants affiliated with Hamas during the October 7 attack. While today’s prisoner swap went smoothly, Yahud was apparently set to be released prior to the release of the Israeli soldiers who were captured. In turn, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has said that the return of civilians to the northern Gaza Strip will not take place until she is released. Hamas has claimed that she is still alive and will be released in next week’s batch of hostages. More to come. Both sides are now calling on the other to fulfill the terms of the ceasefire deal.
